"Create the Worst Cast"

We're always looking for favorites but the actual casting department seems to favor the worse players so I thought it would be fun to pick the worst cast of all.

This will be an elimination game much like Tribe's game but you have to pick your two least Favorites from each season.

Two rules:
- 1 player has to have been eliminated pre-merge and one post merge for each season.
- Returning players don't count. In other words, we won't be choosing anyone from A$$ or HvV and only the fans count for Micronesia.

Round 2 will oppose the players that received the most votes in the first round. We'll go on until we can declare the worst winner ever.

I, luckily, have a spreadsheet containing all survivors names so I'm almost ready to make an entry. Just wanted to know a couple things first.
Seems a foregone conclusion however, I must ask...

Returning players don't count EVER? Or do they only count for their FIRST appearance?
Because, in the case of Coach, he was deplorable in Tocantins but became somewhat viewable for South Pacific.
Conversely, I kinda liked what Russel brought the first two times he played but was left wholly unsatisfied for Redemption Island. Also, do special cases need to be made for quitters?
Cause both Na'Onka and Kelly deserve spots but both are AFTER the merge.
Also, by making a list, is that opening it up to debate over the validity of what it means to be the Best at being the Worst?

Only in their first appearance but you can make an overall impression. Coach could be your entry for Tocantins but not for So Pathetic.

Use your own criteria for those that you would put at the bottom of your love list. Give explanations only if you want.

I almost listed Ryan S for PI as well.
Even though Osten became the most notorious quitter (and crumbled the games of Ryan O, Andrew and Tijuana in the process), Ryan S.'s gameplay, personality and interest didn't jive with me. Yet he retained quite a large contingency of fans. Besides, I truly think Osten deserves another chance to right things. As well as Andrew and Ryan (and Tijuana) having another chance as well.
But Ryan Shoulders was one of the weakest survivors EVER. Him and Chet (from FvF1), survivor's most completely useless.

Oh wait, that's what we're here to figure out. Who was the MOST worthless, right?

Actually, Osten made it to the merge so even if he hadn't quit Morgan was still tied 4-4 with Drake and had to deal with the 2 outcasts. Drake would have had to eliminate Andrew instead of Osten to escape Lil's wrath but Darrah would have been the boot. Lil still turns against Savage and Ryan O soon follows anyway.

Ryan S was simply not ready to play Survivor. I know he has fans, but I wasn't one of them.

Some players are really stinking up the place and have moved far ahead of their opposition but there are still many races too close to call. These include:

Premerge: Borneo, Guatemala, Panama, Nicaragua and Philippines.

Post merge: Borneo, Australia, Thailand, Pearl Island, Vanuatu, Palau, Guatemala, Tocantins and One World.

I will leave the thread open a few more days to get new posters but if you have already posted and want to edit your post to help resolve the close races, go ahead.

I was hoping to add a few more voters but I have to congratulate the ones that made their selections: This cast really stinks!

The following 22 players received at least 4 votes each so they have been given airplane tickets to:

22 is too many players for Survivor so we will do something similar to Palau and eliminate two players before the game starts. These will be the players you feel shouldn't be considered for the worst cast ever.

There will also be a repêchage, a chance to add one participant that you think should have been on this list but wasn't.

How should you vote? Vote for your two "favorites" from the list of 22 or at least the two you hate the least. Then, from the 6 entries above, give me one name that should be on this list but didn't make the cut.

How will this be scored? The top two vote getters will get an airplane ticket back to the US and won't face the humiliation of being on the worst cast ever. Then, if we agree to at least 75% on a contestant that was forgotten, that player will make a late entry into the game and the third top vote getter will also be saved.

In case this isn't clear, I will make my entry in a post below so you can use it as example.


Anyone can vote in this pre-game elimination. Once we are down to 20 contestants then the game begins and there will be some original ways for us to find out who will be the winner of the worst edition of Survivor imaginable. In order to participate at that stage, you will have to have made an entry in either of the first two rounds.

I was hoping for a new entry or two but all 6 original voters have expressed themselves so it will be us 6 deciding on the worst winner ever.

First of all, Lisa and Keith received the most votes so they obviously weren't among the worse. They get their ticket back to the States.

As for Ghandia, Robb's presence may have saved her in the first round but it seems evident that she could be the worst ever so she has been added to the cast.

The third player with the most votes was Semhar so she gets a reprieve and goes back home to write more dumb poetry.

Stay tuned for the first challenge.

Only Jeff would find the words to sell this bunch to the audience. Even if they stink, they can't all be the worst so the first challenge will be for us to agree on 5 players to eliminate from contention.

How will this be done? I will need ONE of you to post a list of the 5 players you want to save.

The other 5 voters, including myself, must agree on that list as is. Any one of us can reject that list but then must immediately replace it with a list of 5 names to replace the first list. The new list can have 5 new names or have only 1 new one but the old list is then scrapped and we will not be allowed to go back to it.

The second list will then be submitted to the 5 other voters who must all agree on it. Anyone can reject that second list and submit one of his own. We will then have to consider that 3rd list. We can object as often as we like to a list and we go on until one list satisfies everyone.


So, the question is: Can we agree on 5 players to save?

I'm not sure if this will work but I will second FP's list.

GC tried. He let Probst force him into the role of tribe leader but Fang was hopeless. Crystal and Randy never gave him a chance. Contrary to Jason who said "Ozzy isn't the only godlike competitor here", GC had no illusion that he was great.

Just for clarification....we are booting the first 5 players OFF of the Worst Players ever list. So, if GC is on this list, he's not going to be the WORST player ever...but he still made the worst top 20...

And, Spot, remember...

I'm just saying that if we were to make a list of the 15 worst Survivors, GC deserves to be there more than Jason....in your opinion, my friend!

And, we have to remember that there are many qualities and characteristics that make a player "the worst"...just saying!

I'm guessing we could debate on this for quite awhile. In fact there are some people missing from even the top 20 worst that I would rather see here; Clay Jordan and Jimmy Tarantino just to name two. I see a compromise happening if we are to move forward.
Now, seeing as how GC and Jason seem to "in-a-way" cancel each other out, let's put Roxy back on the list.

I agreed with it.
Tribe and Spot had reservations but didn't officially reject it.

I would have liked to hear from Spot but it's been a week. I hope thinks are OK for him but the show must go on. Since he didn't object and everyone else agreed then we can consider that Sandy, Bobby, Roxy, Debb and Leslie have been saved from the humiliation of being the worst winner ever.

Now we are down to 15 and I have put them in three teams:

I tried to group them according to their main feature but it isn't easy to limit them to only 1 bad quality. The teams are grouped by rows:

The Bullies - Roger, Ben, Shannon, Brandon, Phil
The Embarrassments - Joana, Denise, Lil, Ghandia, Jason.
The Quitters - GC, BB, Chet, NaOnka, Osten.

Three players will be eliminated this round as they face off in a challenge. The winning team will get to send home 2 of its players. The second place team will send 1 player home while the 3rd place team will be forced to keep all 5 members.

To win, a team will have to receive 12 credits. Each of you have credits to give or take away but you can only give them in discreet amounts. In each post, you have to give 1 credit to one team, 3 to another and take away 2 from the third. The challenge ends as soon as one team makes it to 12cr.

If you want to be sure that your most hated survivor stays in the game then you should make sure his or her team finishes last.

Please let 2 posters give out credits before reposting.

The scores are good. I have 5 that I would like to see stay to the end and there is at least 1 of them in each team. Giving the Bullies 3 credits must mean you'd be ok with saving 2 of them.

My explanations, I fear, need to be clarified: We are voting to "save" players from the humiliation of still being on the worst cast ever. The three votes shoulkd be for those you like the most (or dislike the least!) among the bullies and the embarrassements.

The goal is to drag the most hated ones all the way to the end.

Clearly, the 2 bullies that have been humiliated long enough are Philip and Rodger. These two can mercifully make it back home to their loved ones(?).

As for the Embarrassments, we have a four way tie that I do not wish to prolong. I will be the tie-breaker and I will go by the earlier proposals. Lil and Joana weren't on any proposals, Denise appeared only briefly while Jason lasted a few rounds. That must mean he isn't the worst here. Jason goes back home with the other two guys.

But why do we hate them so much? You will have to tell me and that's how we will determine the last 2 Players, The Awful 2.

Here is how it will work: You will have to write something you hate about these players. You make separate posts for each point and you can only list 2 negative points per player. All the negative points should be made in response to this post.

Each point will have to be validated by someone else. You can only validate 2 points per player. If you do not agree with a point that someone made, you can reject it. You can only reject 1 point per player. The validations or rejection should be posted in response to the post they refer.

The first 2 players with 5 validate negative traits will make it to the end.

I'm sure this isn't as clear on paper as it is n my head so feel free to ask questions! I will make a couple of points below as examples:

Not only did she let Alina take the heat for her actions, which led to Alina getting booted, but she betrayed her best friend in the tribe, Brenda as well. And, in the end, she was PROUD of her game and happy with it, had no regrets.

Furthermore, she is crude and rude, verbally abusive, and she has no self control.

For Naonka, we heard that:

Well, there we have it...NaOnka vs. Brandon. Two fine choices for the Worst Survivor Ever.

I think that Brandon is a very immature, insecure, wannabe Christian zealot that has serious ego vs superego issues. Yes, he is unstable. As he ages, I think he is tending to yearn for infinite DAWdom, just as his uncle did. He desperately wants attention and to be recognized. I find him pathetic, and someone in need of consistancy and stablity in his life. I wonder if he had an OVER bearing mother? Whatever, he is most definitely a pyshco.

NaOnka is another story. I have never seen a woman that has no filter or moral compass like this. She laughs, mocks, and ridicules things that should evoke sympathy and empathy. She really could be considered a sociopath. She is greed extradinaire. She has no loyalty to anyone or anything. It pains me to know that she is a teacher by profession.

I think I know who I will vote for!

Couldn't we just crown the worst female survivor and the worst male survivor? They are both worthy candidates.

I hated NaOnka with every fiber of my being when she was on Nicaragua. I have a feeling that by the time Brandon gets voted out, I may hate him as much, but I am voting today, not in a few weeks time!

Brandon: His need to be emulate Russhell in his first time out wasn't so much bad game play as much as not having enough personality and emotional stability to be an individual. He strikes me as someone who is emotionally stunted at about age 17 and will never grow out of it. Teenagers shouldn't be playing Survivor, they're not equipped to do more then mess up serious players.

NaOnka: There's an adult that shouldn't be any where near impressionable children. Her goal was to screw over as many people as she could and she knew it.

What boils down to is that Brandon, as awful as he is to watch is completely unaware, NaOnka knows what she's doing to others and likes it. So for me, NaOnka is the worst.

I think we have narrowed it down to the two worst survivors to have played, but its obvious we voted for the worst based on morals.

Rob Cesternino on a podcast recently said that Wendy from Nicaragua was the worst survivor ever based on gameplay, social game and physical ineptitude. I had forgotten about her - man could she TALK! Then later he mentioned that Lisi from Fiji had made a video. It is so disgusting that I won't post the link but if you google Tighty Whity Lisi on youtube you'll find it. Now Lisi is someone we probably should have had in our final 16 just for the Lisi math episode alone! ;) There are just too many bad players!
