As usual, I'm running late. And still have some packing to do -
and loose ends to cauterize - at the Lodge.

But I'll be along shortly. In plenty of time to greet the next arrival. I wouldn't miss that for the world.

Note: This place is fantastic. I do believe that you've thought of everything! And I hope that you don't mind that I'm going to drink and run for now. But I couldn't bear to let that lovely cocktail waste away a moment longer.

The weather is still gorgeous.

The silver is still all here. But, damn Dreamz for the sorry drunk that he is, more of the liquor isn't.

I've had several swims, scrumptious lunches and dinners - I don't do breakfast because there seems to be
some ridiculous culinary custom that it be done in the morning, for heaven's sake! - and just enough
just-long-enough naps on that beautiful beach.

Best of all - for me, anyway - as you can see above and below, the Suzz and the Sir have arrived!

And duty calls.

Swoop blocked again. So today I went out fishing. Yes IRL I went fishing (it's a free fishing weekend here). I caught 4 (count them) 4 fish McNuggets. The largest of which was 5 inches long. Fish fear me. I think I fed more of them then caught.

I've had the Firebird for 12 years. It's a '91 so it's 21, of legal age. I store it in the winter anyway, really, try to drive that beast in the snow LOL, absolutely no control dude.

As for a mechanic's dream, yes & no. I had the engine rebuilt last year at 150,000 miles by a race car mechanic, so it's cunning and luck that keeps me from getting a speeding ticket. Other then that, I need a set of tires. Still cheaper then a car payment.

I'll add Georj is she wants in (don't know her FB personna - if she is on fb).

It's difficult & confusing to converse with one person re-postintg who said what. And it honestly takes a long to get around to everyone replying.

aww sweets, I have the exact opposite feeling about timely communications here versus fb.
I do have an fb account but I have forgotten my password and really this jury talk would be the ONLY reason for me to go there. Not a fb'er. Haven't been there in over a year.

Anyhoos, I love the idea of being open with communication.
I would love to coordinate thoughts and communicate fast but I fear I would never get to fb to get involved in those talks. I would love to be a participating jurist among jurors but I prefer to do it via the red flag thingy.

Can we kinda do it by mixing techniques?

okay, so FB is out.

There is a chat place we could use. I'll have to think of the name of it.
But then chatting means we all have to be on at the same time.
PMing and FB means you leave messages & everyone chimes in when they can.

I'll go along with the PM way; and I agree with Georj below; leave what is said to you in the reply box.

Like Tribe, I have a FaceBook account that I very, very rarely use.

So I, too, prefer to communicate here (and I would like to continue to be a part of the Jury's deliberations).

And I would like to suggest that, to the extent that we go on sending PMs back and forth, we all adopt Suzzee's user-friendly habit of leaving prior messages in tact so that PM exchanges become, in effect, threads (and we don't have to guess what 'I said, you said'.

It would also be helpful if we all posted consecutive messages in our thread here so that our PM buttons were all conveniently together.

And I realize that if they were still available, we would probably not be discussing this, but were there not, at one time, forum chat rooms available for private - member only - conversations?

Yes. It's called Blowsvivor and stands as the memorial for the first tragic result of an attempt to have a game wherein fellow posters vote each other out. Not a lot to glean from the messages still there but suffice it to say, there were some explosive castaways. Shakes ring a bell? And lots of hurt feelings. Along with a couple of bannings. To this day, part of why you can't write ##### without the string of poundsigns replacing it.

Not to mention that was back in the days of less than 1000 members total. We're over 50,000 now.
It's highly doubtful the 5 of us could conjure an appearance with Webby to acquire secret passwords gaining us entry to our own little playground.

He runs this place. With his own money. He tends to stick to the realitytvnews and such and leave the 'governing' of the forums to the mods.
This messageboard is a fairly antiquated messageboard system that has all sorts of loop holes to leap through in order to do all sorts of things and most of those; altering forums, starting new forums, creating restricted password forums, etc. are left for him to decide, create, give access, solely.
I seriously doubt, the 5 of us could get a separate, by password only, forum to discuss a game that will last for approx. 2 more weeks. I wouldn't do if I were him. I would hate to be the one to ask too. So, for me, yes. It would hurt.

I'm pretty sure there are free online chat systems that you can set as private (i.e., by invitation only). I think D'Abby and I once used one before for a game that Tribe hosted when my Facebook was screwy.

seems you didn't think Agman or I gave a complete promise that we would vote the next survivor/player you wanted when we replied to Suzzee. If we had better communication, you could have said: "Spell it out! no beating around the bush!"

FTR, what I replied was this (& yes, I realize players still in the game can see this):
I already voted TODD
And like Ag I am willing to go your directions if we can just get TODD/Corvis out next.

I too think it would be great for ***** to make it to the finals.

The only change I made was to take out one name - to protect the innocent shall we say.

So saying "willing to go your directions" wasn't good enough or you. Guess you wanted me to say "Yes, I will vote for ####".
but I didn't know you needed it to be spelled out.

And again FTR, I do plan to vote for #### - your choice - at the next TC.
