As the adage goes, best laid plans blah blah blah disaster or not going your way or something.
Well, as with the game of survivor so too the game of STOPP.
I had fully intended on doubling the Driver scores for the final entry and I never posted a lick of wordage regarding that intent.
As it would turn out, the results would have been the same regardless of whether I'd added the Driver bonus or not.
So, I had to stray from the expected and adapt to what was happening. AND I had to redo all of it at least once.
Here are the results for the Final Entry...

Hello, CT and Suzzee ...

Thank you for the nice thoughts. But, I think that there are a couple of glitches in the F4 scoring that mean that I should have been dockside with you ladies for some time now and well on my way to being delightfully - drunk.

And I've PM'd Sir Tribe about my suspicion that Dear Abby is our winner. So, we should know shortly if I'm right.



But, darn it! I really do love that siggie ...

I guess I missed the drama. Wasn't able to watch the show live, so I recorded it. And I didn't want to open this thread till after I watched, but I didn't get a chance to see it till just now.

Hi!

No drama, really. Unless you count a grown woman sobbing uncontrollably.

Because, the ladies of the family went out to dinner and a play Sunday evening (South Pacific, I kid you not!). But before we left I had 'edited' in an alternate entry that would have kept me in the tie at F5 and F4. And, as it turned out, that entry (still using Ozzy and Sophie in the F3) would have won the Game. If no one else had then changed their entry, that is.

However, I (of course) walked out the door without posting it. But, for a few brief, shining moments as I read the Finale results celebrating my 'win', I thought that I must have hit 'Post Message' and that for once a senior moment had been a good thing.

Hah! As if that's ever going to happen!

Anyway, It's nice to know that you've enjoyed the graphics. So, on down the page there is one last one for you, CT and Cats.

Wow! What an honor, to win over such tough competitors. It was a close game from the very beginning. Can't wait till next season to try to defend my title. Thanks, tribe, for once again being a great game host.

Well, last year I won both the STOPP and the ABC games. What an anomaly that was....really surreal for me. This year, it's back to the way it belongs. Dear Abby and CTGirl are back in the top spots and all is well with the world. You ROCK, Abby! I have to admit, I have always admired a real gamer, and sister, you are the QUEEN of games! I <3 you! Well done and BRAVO!

But, I have to say, I am THRILLED to have made it at least to the final TC! Thanks so much for the game, Tribe! You rock, season after season, and I can't wait to come back next year and keep these gamers on their toes!

Congrats to Abby, CT Girl, and Catwoman - 5 cats! You guys are my idols!
