Sorry I abandoned you last season. Had to take a break to be the primary caregiver for my ailing mom.

But I'm back and snarkier than ever! Ha-Ha

Hey Aruba! I was just trying to see if there was any interest in snarking our way through Survivor 42.

I've been away for so long that I had to re-establish my log in info. Should we organize a bare-bones version of Be The Survivor?
Or perhaps kingfish will be here to bare the ass of one of his many characters.

Hope things went well for your Mom and I'll be watching this space...

Hey RollDdice,

Thanks for your thoughts. Mom passed away a few months ago. Even though all her ailments pertained directly to diabetes, the whole condition was relatively painless. She passed peacefully in her sleep at 88. When it’s my time I can only hope to go that peacefully. Once again, thanks for your thoughts.

WAAAAAY back when we had more activity in this forum, I can recall being one of the Survivors to promote discussion/banter. It was fun. Unfortunately, over the past years, the enthusiasm died off and now we’re down to a precious few. If we’re able to entice more than a handful of viewers to rejuvenate the “Be the Survivor” format, I’ll be on board. Let’s see if Kingfish is still lurking in the shadows and joins us this season.

In any event, I did post an initial synopsis to “snark my way” through the premier right here in Bashers. At the very least I’ll continue doing that. If you would like to come up with a witty name/title for that weekly effort, I’ll run with it. We’ll play it by ear.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother passing, but it seems like she had a relatively easy time of it and you have some perspective. It's so good to see you around here.

Let's try some BTS thresds and see if A) they catch on or B) we just amuse ourselves or C) we're as popular as a nun at Club Med.

Looking forward to Survivor S42 E2 airing tonight.
Quick observation... It's just Survivor Season 42. They don't even invest in cool names like "Edge of Extinction" or "Winners at War" anymore. *sigh*
