Given the stated theme (Heroes vs. Villains) plus the complete self-destruction of all contestant selection talent from the casting department, choose the most hideous possible assembly of sixteen to twenty players for us to be subjected to on February 11th.

No cloning.

Wouldn't you love to see Elizabeth Hasselbeck come back. Depending on your political views, she could be either a hero or a villain.

I actually hope they go back to some of the early ones. I know that Australian season had some interesting people on it. Of course Colby is now a reporter on Rachel Ray, so he and Elizabeth could catch the same flight. Remember Keith, who couldn't cook Rice, and Kimmee who wouldn't eat chicken.

We hardly knew anything about the Mambo #5 girls (Erica/Jessica/Rita) and Liliana so I just put them wherever. Anyone who'd quit because of OMGSNAKEZ! is a villain in my book.

I'll take that as having done my job in putting together a truly catastrophic season.
I went for mediocrity, blahness, and weirdness in the male heroes, bitchiness and crazy in the female villains, tedious and feeble in the female heroes, and for the male villain tribe went with the bad boys who would tear each other apart.

I would possibly enjoy seeing the male villains trying to work each other over, but I know it would require copious booze to handle the confessional garbage.

Looks like I found a good one there, judging by your reaction, Pepe. As I said, I had to think hard for some good heroes, and the only reason why I added Robb is because despite his being so goofy he did learn something while he was there about himself, and maybe that's potentially heroic. Besides, who from Thailand would be seen as undeserving of being a hero as Robb?

Well maybe not worst, but how about at Heroes, Villians, and Tribe that probably would somehow win in spite of themselves because they lack the ability to outlast, outwit, outcount, or speak coherently enough to make it through one challenge without Jeff's head exploding, or approximate sanity.

I have to give you all props. I have watched every season, but I would have to go back and match names, faces and castmates to remember who many of these people are. I'm very impressed with your recall and when the cast is made public, then I'll try to figure out who they are.
(There are a few - Coach for one- who I could never forget).

I'm sure the cast crew/producers have their favorites and makes sure they get the first offers, and by the time they get around to the rest there just aren't that many slots left.

But I'm sure there are a fair number that request that their number be lost.

I think her lack of a gag reflex and ability to go either way earned her slot the slot, so to speak. Nothing like being BFF with senior casting director.

Who the hell decided Candice and Stephenie were Heroes? Stephenie was the villain of Guatemala, and Candice's most heroic moment was convincing Billy to fall in love with him.

Also, if Randy makes the merge, I'll invent a time machine, go back in time, and smother him with one of the reward pillows from the original Samoa.

Steph generally received a sweetheart/I-will-never-give-up edit in Palau, complete with crying scenes. I remember one in particular when she received the merge treemail and she exclaimed, "I have friends!" I agree though that her Guatemala edit was very villainous.

Candice, I think, was set up as a hero because after the merge, she became one of Jonathan's major critics. She also had some poor-me scenes while in Exile Island.

What I really don't get is Danielle. I don't remember her antagonizing anyone (she made comments about Bobby, but her comments to me actually made sense), and except for being lazy, didn't really show any villainous behavior.

Danielle-as-villain is the oddest placement for me as well. Maybe because she reneged on Super-Terry's offers toward the end? That was not exactly dastardly either.

Danielle is one of "Erika's friends" who is on the Villains to provide a not-so-obvious-as-Candice pre-merge ally for Parvati.

Who makes the decisions of who is a Villain or a Hero? Casting. Lynn and Erika. As Billy Garcia wrote up, there was a lot of drama at Discovery Bay this year over their decisions. Probst tried to go up against them.

Twila and Shane are still pissed. Twila should be on this season as a memorable villain, but instead we get Danielle who flew UTR most of her season other than exchanging a few snippy words with Bob Dawg.

Well, Danielle did rail against Shane a number of times as well. But I agree that this has Erika and Perv's fingerprints all over the Danielle selection over much more deserving villains such as Twila and Shane. I would have loved to see Shane on 'Survivor' again.

Are you questioning the integrity of a Mark Burnett production? Because if you are, he'll have to pull the episodes and reshoot from scratch. It's mandatory.
