I'd appreciate it if someone could explain to me what, if anything, was the bloody point.

All cast IQ tests have officially come up negative.

It was the only innovative concept this season and the editors want the next batch of dumdums to do it better.

Last night, that wasn't a CTA...... that was a CYA by the 3 former Jalapaos........

I think that, if by some miracle, one of them make it to the FTC, they won't be able to win, unless they're up against another member........

Yep - they blew that opportunity completely! I guess they didn't want to go up against Brendan in the final. Just amazed me. What was up with Taj - she doesn't talk to Brendan for a day so she sells him down the river? Stephen just might win this thing. . .

(I can't wait for the 3 hour fire building contest tie breaker! . . . thank god he practiced!)

Not that I have an opinion one way or another ;)

Take that to the editing thread: you could be onto something.

Maybe we've been had. The CTA never was as big as it seemed for as long as editing made us think. It might have been just a short term idea that didn't pan out. Stephen had been shown saying from the beginning that he didn't entirely trust Brendan after Taj let him in on the idea. JT & Stephen are the tight ones and I'm wondering if there is more sneakiness in JT then we've been shown.

It seemed to me that Brendan didn't even try to keep the alliance going until he felt in danger and wanted to get rid of Coach. Prior to him bonding with JT on the luxury trip he really didn't say much to Taj or Stephen. Or at least it seemed that way. In a game like Survivor you can't be in alliance one day then never check in with your conspirators. You have to have constant contact to make sure everything is still good. I don't blame Taj, JT, or Stephen for giving Brendan the boot. I don't think he would have proved to be loyal. His comment at the end about Sierra being next and therefore didn't need the immunity idol seemed kind of assholish to me.

The short clip of Taj saying something to the effect that they can do their thing and we'll come in after that (something like this anyway). At first I assumed she meant the CTA would take over, now I wonder if she meant that old Jalapao was biding their time while Timbura self destructed. I'm probably way off but if Stephen, JT & Taj are sticking together while working the old Timburas (and maybe now adding Sierra and/or Erinn) they could flip the game around big time.

I think that is exactly what she means. I really hope that those creep-o's from the old Timbira tribe hate each other enough to self destruct, leaving the old J. tribe to wrestle for the final 2/3 spot! That would really make this season worth it for me. The only thing better at this point is seeing Coach blind-sided by his so-called mentee's, taken down the river by those Watoosi's he was gnawing about last night, and finally done in by them!!
