Sekou's song ascending the Billboard rankings. Burning up the charts! Get it? No? Me neither.

Flicka, as long as the fire materials were located under a crate, because she's learned her lesson and she can only try to start it without lifting anythng to get to it.

The hidden immunity idol. It never does anything active in the game, so why should it be able to do this?
And Jeff's slowly dying contempt for Becky & Sundra's survival skills. It's hot enough and it's focused enough, but there's two problems.

1. It's actually undying.
2. Given a choice, he would have rather set both of them on fire and given Final Three to whoever was the first to put themselves out.

No snarky quip here. I just wanted to note that the fire-making challenge last night was the most pathetic moment in RTV history (excluding anything from BB, Paradise Hotel, the Bachelor/ette, the Apprentii, etc., etc.).

on the other hand, I don't think Ra and I have laughed so hard at a survivor episode in a long time.

It did, however, seal the fate of the "third" finalist, thus making it a final two again. Even if Sundra had "won" that challenge she would have been pegged as a coat-tailer just like Becky.

We were crying here we were laughing so hard. We had debated whether we should do a shot after every failed attempt at fire, but wisely decided against it as they were setting up the fire teepees. Our livers could not have handled it.

Asbestos wet with water in a nitrogen atmosphere would self ignite before either of them could make fire.

I mean eventually the seal would leak, oxygen would get in, the water would get out and enough dust would accumulate.

So what would have happened if Becky had used up all her matches without burning through the rope? More matches?

My guess is more matches, but wouldn't it have been great if Jeff had the ability to "pull a Donald" and just eliminate them both. It should have been clear that after all this neither would get a jury vote. I know that would have screwed up the whole F3 to the jury thing, but that would have been great.


But to answer Estee's question, I guess the Houston Texan's draft scouts are colder than Becky and Sundra's fires. Although they should all be fired.

That would have been the only possible way to salvage that embarrassment of a potentially dramatic moment. JP should have yelled in unison with the whole incredulous rolling-their-eyes-jury, "The tribe has spoken, you both suck, NOW GET OUT!"

I had a fire once in my toaster oven without even trying. Listen to your grandma - baking soda DOES douse a fire on the stove. Keep it handy.

Enough about me. I want to see the look on the real estate agent's face when Becky or Sundra take their 3rd and 4th place winnings and say they want to buy a house with a fireplace. The question is not Will They Laugh? The question is How Hard? Will they spew? Will they spit? Will they grab their tummies and roll on the floor? Or will they just smirk and giggle until they get back to the office?
