I was just wondering when sign-up for this would go up? I just don't want to end up character-less.

When this goes up for real...could I call Bruce?

Well, Angelfood did say in my "S12 Cast Revealed" thread that she was going to start up a Be The Survivor game a little closer to the show start date (still nearly 3 weeks to go so lots of time)...

Having said that... maybe I could put down dibs on Shane. He looks like a freaky character who could be worth a few interesting comments. Gonna have to practice my Jack Nicholson from "The Shining" sneer and dress up like a stereotypical divorced deadbeat dad.

I agree. Shane looks like he'll give you a lot of juicy moments.

I want in again, too. I just hope I get somebody who makes the merge this time. I have had characters who have been out in the 1st 6 episodes both of the last two games.

As Pepe said, this is usually Angelfoods turf.
Also, as Pepe said, her Be the Survivor Games don't usually start until closer to the premiere.

However, I'd also like to throw it out there that I'd love to do siggies for this season again.

I know it's Angelfood's thing, and I really hate it when people step on my territory, and I'm sure everybody else feels the same, but I know sign-up goes by fairly quick, and I didn't want to have nobody, which is a bit selfish, but...I couldn't help it. :-P

Ack. I have been remiss. I am actually working full-time now.

besides, with so much enthusiasm and mention of my name, how could I possibly ever be offended that y'all couldn't wait for sign-ups. Long as I still get to run the game (and even then I beg for substitutes sometimes). ;)

So, no problem here. I got worried before when I started signups too early, so I was just waiting.

Besides, it could be worse. It could say "gee I haven't seen sign ups yet so I'll start the game this season and by the way I borrowed the wording of the rules from Angelfood." sniffsniff. I mean, I was glad that someone wanted to run it and enthused about it. And I thought it flattering that it was assumed this is a time-honored tradition or sumpin'. (For those who don't know - I invented the darn thing). Maybe I needed more love or a pm. I'm just a ... desperate attention whore!!! boo hoo hoo. ;)

If I could make a request to be Aras or Austin, that'd be great. These 2 are very easy targets, and I will slaughter them in "Be the Survivor".

Also, I am working on a new Survivor website that should be up soon. It will be ideal reading material for those that frequent "Survivor Bashers". I will announce the website address once it is up and going...

In the meantime, I have a party to get back to. And a hilarious football game on TV.

Here is a sample of what most will look like...

When you do request your BTS siggie, make sure to include a "quote" so I can further personalize your survivor.

Also, if you can't think of a quote yet or want to change your quote later on don't be shy. I've made a template that I can alter at any time.
IOW, You can start with a blank one and add to it later-on.

If its ok with the players, I really like some of the comparison's on Pepe's thread. So they aren't quotes, but titles. Like Melinda - it would be great if hers says something about Bride of Chucky. I mean, its just uncanny. So, its at least a good place for ideas.

I'm not late, I've just been scouting the Panamanian jungle for a good spot to set up my gear, hidden from the watchful eyes of MB's security team. I have decided to be an Investigative Reporter for the Panama Exile Enquirer, a/k/a IR-PEE. I think maybe I asked in the wrong place (the Be the Survivor 12.1 thread) since I didn't receive an answer. I would like to be the leaves if I could, with perhaps the slogan "Be very afraid" or something similar. I would greatly appreciate it.
