"T time with the Lady and txmomma"
Posted by LadyT on 07-12-05 at 10:31 PM
Lady T Don't you just love my new jet ski? I am cruising along the beach looking for one of our newest newlyweds, txmomma. Oh, did I mention that I am in Cabo? ANd that there are no hurricanes around us. Oh, except the drink that txmomma so kindly ordered up for me. All around us are gorgeous cabana boys. The Sun is out, there is a nice cool breeze so we don't get too hot and free drinks! Perfect day!!!

txmomma Love that Jet ski Lady T.

Lady T All the benefits of Webby's credit card. You sure picked a nice spot. You know what I am gonna do?

txmomma What?

Lady T How would you like it if I sprung a week for you and your new hubby here in Cabo? Well. ok, it won't be me, but Webby that does the springing.

txmomma That is so nice of you! I can't thank you enough.

Lady T You being here is thanks enough. So, how about we begin and you can start your honeymoon. How long have you been coming to Reality TV World?

txmomma I started lurking on Survivor Spoilers about two years ago. I had started reading summaries on another Reality TV website, which got me interested in the spoiling side of it, because they'd reference spoilers in the episode summaries. So, a quick search on Survivor spoilers led me here. I lurked, read, and amazed my friends and family with the vast spoiling I picked up here.

Lady T I do that too. I tell my family who the final two of Survivor will be before it even starts to air.

txmomma The next season, I was bold enough to post in Bashers and Fanatics. Big Brother forums came next...and it was finding the BB forums that lead me to OT, my current home away from home.

Lady T What are your favorite shows?

txmomma Here's where it gets semi-amusing. I don't watch much tv. There's no time to watch what I want with kids around. So reality shows are Survivor and Big Brother and
Non-reality, well, do SpongeBob Squarepants, Jimmy Neutron, The Fairly Oddparents, and a slew of Disney animated movies count?

Lady T They sure do. So you have to pick one contestant that you like and one that you don't like and spend two weeks on a deserted island. Who do you choose and why?

txmomma Let's see...I lvoe Bobby Jon (sorry Glowie!)

Lady T Ok, I have to stop this right now. What is the fascination with Bobby Jon? First off, he has two first names. Secondly, need I remind people of the hotness that is Colby and Will Kirby? Sheesh.

txmomma Lady T, are you blind? He's so, so.

Lady T You can say all you want, you will never convince me that he is better than Colby or Will. So your least favorite contestant?

txmomma I intensly disliked Tom, from last season's Survivor. See, with Bobby Jon, my every fantasy could be fulfilled. And Tom would make sure we had food, shelter, and all our other "needs" met.

Lady T If you could be on any reality show, which one
would it be?

txmomma Probably, it would be Big Brother. I know all too well that I'd never last on Survivor, and as DH put it Thursday night, BB is like the luxury, soap opera version of Survivor.

Lady T I would choose Big Brother too. So,if your life was a soap opera, what would the name of it be and why?

txmomma Ah, the soapy question from the soap queen! Probably it would have to be All My Children, even though I only have two kids. My life tends to revolve around them most of the time.

Lady T That's my favorite soap! Your screen name is txmomma26. You recently became txwife. How was the day for you? Describe it for us again because we all love weddings.

txmomma My wedding was perfect - calm, relaxed, laid back, very much who we are as individuals and as a couple. There was no pomp, no flash, just us, our friends and family and a party atmosphere. And of course, the fire engine!

The only things that really drove me nuts about that day was my daughter deciding at the last minute that she didn't want to be the flower girl and refusing to smile in any of our pictures AND my now step mil bitching about us not having a wedding cake. But you know, it's all pretty funny now. And it's something that we'll never forget.

Oh - and we were married on DH's neice's 15th birthday, so we had a cake for her, a few presents and she played a big part in my flowers and helping with the littler kids that were there that day.

Lady T That is seriously how I would want my wedding to be,laid back and fun. So tell us about yourself. What do you do for a living, etc.

txmomma Me? I have no identity. I am Rotten1 and Rotten2's momma. *grin* Seriously, I'm something of a cross between a country girl and a city girl. I enjoy the finer things in life, but hate the hustle and bustle of the city. I prefer quiet country dirt roads, crickets, horses grazing, and open areas to be free. I work full time for a manufacturing company as a product coordinator. Its a position I sort of created for myself as I have moved up within the company over the last 6 years. Hopefully, as I move on in life, it will lead me to bigger and better things.

Lady T I am sure you will. What do you do in your spare time? Is married life treating you well?

txmomma Until the last few weeks, I had forgotten all about spare time! I read, I play on the computer, I try to avoid my Sims games...I used to write, but haven't in years. My pens are a bit rusty. Maybe one of these days the creative side will resurface.

DH and I also have a 65 Ranchero that we are slowly but surely restoring and modifying. It's really his baby, but I've taken on a few minor projects. Mostly detail painting, polishing, etc. He's promised that as soon as the truck is finished, it's my turn for my Mustang! I can't wait.

Lady T Speaking of hubby, isn't that him over there?

txmomma Yes it is.

Lady T Well, enjoy the honeymoon from us. It's a pleasure speaking to you and have fun!
