Sorry I didn't say hi earlier but Mr. OFG also thinks the message boards are silly (silly him) and I have to sneak in on the weekends (but then you won't read this til Monday, will you?)I think this is a dead-on and very funny spoof of the Kis and I look forward to seeing more of your sense of humor. You mentioned you had grown up near where I live and I wanted to say, "I know that area," but sadly I don't. Over the last 20 years I have been creeping southwards in CA but slowly, like the San Andreas. After growing up alternating between Marin and Greater LA county, emigrated up north to Mendocino coast, then back to Marin, to Albany, to Berkeley, and now to Oakland, and I almost never make it south of the Oakland airport, so Fremont is like a strange land to me. Next stop the Big Island of Hawaii. I'm sure it was pleasant in Fremont before the Silicon invasion.
