"Audrey Hepburn?"

Well, there are lots of Audrey Hepburn movies that I like, although I'm not sure that she was a very nice person. However, I've never been fond of "Breakfast at Tiffany's", perhaps because I actually think Truman Capote's ending (Holly, a born wanderer, leaves NYC) is in character with Holly and the movie's ending is not ... and I rarely get the mean reds. I HATE movies where everyone lives like Bill Gates. And the scenes with Jed trying to take "Lulu May" back to Oklahoma from her life of prostitution -- typical Capote cruelty between characters. Instead of loving Holly, Paul should be in full flight away from her. But then ... he isn't a nice person either.

However, Audrey Hepburn was a fantastic actress in addition to being beautiful -- even if she wasn't a good choice as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady -- and Blake Edwards handles the material deftly. Still can't stand George Peppard as Paul, though.

Almost forgot -- Femme, great to have you here!

P.S. If I were going to pick a romantic Audrey Hepburn movie, I'd have to pick "Roman Holiday" followed by the original (and brilliant) "Sabrina" and "Love in the Afternoon."
