(Personal tangent--because you sort of asked: I have "done time" in academia--as a grad student in the Berkeley English dept for umm, this is truly embarrassing, almost a decade. I didn't fit in with the current focus on toadying to the non-job market though; it just took me a LONG time to give up my addiction to the mental stimulation. I was having so much fun hanging out on the fringes with the rebels until those ugly words "Lack of Academic Progress" pushed me out of the nest... Left with my MA and I am currently teaching community college here. My specialty is Myth, Epic, Psychoanalysis, Shakespeare, James Joyce.)

Edit: I just looked at the Halloween Party thread. I have been focusing my limited SB time on the TV forums and not reading OT for awhile, or I would have seen the Anne Robinson pics...
