I don't mind. The only reason we didn't say anything before is because we wanted to prove ourselves as individuals here and be accepted by the community on our own. IRL we confront this grouping mentality that friends and colleagues tend to have. It's always "NS and FH", "FH and Ns" -- never just "NS" or just "FH". It's understandable in a way -- we are very close and have similar interests, but getting lumped into a "unit" gets a bit reductive and annoying at times.
It's been a real joy for me to watch this community embrace hexe for her own wonderful qualities and unique persona, all the while, I am also being accepted on my own merit.
Now that you all know, I hope it stays that way. I probably won't be revealing too much more info about my "partner" now that you all know who she is. I got in really bad trouble about the snoring thing on the "what are you like in bed" thread. My defense then was that no one (except possibly MIS)knew I was talking about hexe. I told her no one would remember that tiny little thing out of so many posts, and she shouldn't worry about it. THEN Superman had to go and remind her and anyone else who missed it the first time. I haven't seen her today, so I will be hiding out, hoping she hasn't read that yet.
She loves it here, and so do I. Truly wonderful, intelligent, witty peeps here.

and props to MIS and OFG for careful reading and their ability to keep a secret. I did find it interesting that only women were able to make the connection. I wonder what that means...
