Colonel Zoidberg 3645 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Thong Contest Judge" 06-28-07, 07:59 AM (EST) "Leonid the Magnificent: Sign of the Decline of Western Civilization" I've seen this guy perform twice in two seasons. I've seen him do completely insane things, dress like a bronze statue, beg, plead, tell off the judges, and basically behave in an ambiguously gay fashion. What I don't understand is this. Just what the hell does he do, anyway? Leonid the Bat-Poop-Insane is about the only person on the show who gets passed through without actually having an act. The judges lick his boots, which might be stylish...I can't tell beyond his ridiculous make-up, costumes, and strange-looking Medieval weaponry...yet the voters of America can't seem to figure out just why the judges cram him down our throats. He got two "no" votes last season. He begged his way to Vegas. He got two "yes" votes. Then he got voted down...and into the wild card round, where he was voted down again. And here we were thinking we were rid of him. But noooooooooooooooo. He's back. From outer space. Literally, perhaps. I saw a street performer in Honolulu that had more talent than this joker. Well, so did that kooky lady with the T-shirt that said she was there to "hassel the Hoff" and yet she didn't get put through. Merely coming in to "hassel the Hoff" doesn't cut it. I didn't even understand what was supposed to happen at the end when he hanged himself and lost his headdress. I think he just came on to tell them to "go to hell". He should most certainly not have been passed through. It had to have been some S&M skit, or reinactment, as far as I could tell. What do I know, anyway, it was just what I would imagine that S&M's do... But anyway, what a freak! And I think by my saying that, he would not be in the least offended-I'm sure that's his thing, and he loves it when we love him for it. But I have to agree with Hassel on this guy AND the Man Shakira. Why they were passed through is beyond me, except that Sharon O loves to promote the gay scene, and Piers loves to Hassle the Hoff, and knows by putting someone thru like this, he will well do so! Let's hope his hanging segment is very successful in the next round, and then we won't have to worry about much else from him. I was lucky then. I see that there are a bunch of other Leonid the Magnificent bits on youtube. He came prepared with props, makeup, etc, granted, he did have a wardrobe malfunction, but oh well.
