"Men vs. women"
Has anyone else noticed that since The Donald put the men and women together, the women have been dropping like flies? I'll leave it at that--discuss among yourselves!

Yep, you are right! Why is that? When there was only one team with memebers of the softer sex, that was the only team that could play the "sex sells" card. No that advantage is even out. All the "challenges" are sale related and it is always good to have some "eye candy" in the sales team. But if both team have it none of them has the extra advantage.

But can you blame Trump for getting rid of those women? I mean all of those women including Heidi and Katrina (who are still left) are all whiny and annoying. They are way too emotional, they don't know how to get along professionally regardless of little disagreements. Perfect example is the disagreement about getting a bite to eat between Hiedi and Omarosa. That should not have escalated the way it did and it makes both of them look like idiots. The only woman who has been able to control her emotions is Amy and if there is a woman standing it will be her.

Although...there is something about Amy that i don't necessarily trust. She has done nothing for me to dislike her up until this point but I feel there is more to come as the game continues. And let's face it, she has yet to be in the boardroom so I don't know how she will react. She just seems like she could be that person who may loose it a little when the pressure builds.

Up to this point I like Troy or Bill for the final two. Nick is good at appearing like he's good but his weaknesses will come out once again when he is not PM. He seems to be the type who wants to lead but never wants to follow.

There is also something about Kwami. I think he is a wonderful person who knows how to get along with people good or bad. I know he hasn't done much to really shine as a leader but I'm wandering if that is all in the editing or is that the way he really is. Any ideas? Anyways that's just my two cents, I didnt expect to write this much.

Yes, I have noticed this. It became most obvious with Ereka for not bringing Katrina into the boardroom last week. All the other PM's were allowed to make such a decision, but Ereka was belittled for her decision. It was disrepectful of her. Usually, DT bawls out one candidate, points out flaws, then turns and bawls out another, and fires the second. During Ereka's boardroom, neither of the men got bawled out, only Ereka got bawled out like a child, for her personality, not the work that she did, then fired. It was chauvinistic. Not that Ereka was my favourite or had any chance of winning, but her termination was unfair and poorly handled.

I don't think that all the women have been "too emotional". They are generally smaller, have higher voices, longer hair, and can express their feelings more easily than the typical man. In other words, haha, they are women. Women all across the country are like this. If you want to work happily and peacefully in the workplace, it is good to accept this, even enjoy it. Calling them "emotional" because they possess feminine traits is discriminatory. I hope they don't start firing the men for being too hairy or for playing too much basketball or something...

Having emotions is not the problem. When one ACTS out their emotions without understanding or perhaps even being aware of these emotions or their causes is when you get arrogant, self-centered, surly, pouting, uncooperative behaviour, like Nick. He is a stick of emotionally charged dynamite. I hope he explodes.

Amen Pepito! I'm getting a little tired fo the new buzz term , "too emotional", being used anytime one of the women has something valid to express. It seems as if the "emotional" delivery becomes an excuse to not listen to the subject matter. It also has become a handy way for the guys to elevate themselves as "more suitable" for leading a DT company. The women and all their emotions seemed to be doing just fine in the first 4 episodes. Also, I noticed that when Kristie took full responsibility for her failure as PM, she got fired for not standing up for herself. However, when Kwame took responsibilty he was seen as honorable. I also agree with the Ereka boardroon assesment. It was blatanlty imbalanced. I have to admit that I really liked Ereka. Even though she was emotional she was always very clear and to the point with her words. Her emotions never led her to that "flailing for the right thing to say" point (she always said just the right thing) and the "steering completely off the path" point that Omerosa exhibited in her embarrasing final boardroom. She often complained of Erekas high emotions and refered to herself as "a strong black woman". HA! Look where she ended up. Emotions are not the enemy, fear of them is. We all have them and if we can admit to them, then we can manage them and use them to motivate and drive ourselves and others. If we don't admit to them and instead fear and hate them then they will sneak up on us and embarrass us on national T.V. Right Omerosa? Did you learn anything Nick?
So get over the emotion thing. And Donald you need to to do a quik chauevenism check. Alot of the women on the show are more that just cute. You seem to get dissapointed when they show strength. You would rather they just be "pleasing" and you don't seem to think that they can fill more than one of those roles. His negative comment about Amy being chosen this week by Versacorp was just out right rude and ultimalety wrong given the task of this week. It was obvoious that he thought Troy should have been picked...In fact his big "woody" for Troy in general is so obvious...If he doesn't end up the winner I will be extremely surprised. Sorry I went on so long, I guess I didn't know I had so much to say. Just my emotions getting the better of me I guess.

Have to disagree with you on these points. I think that Carolyn sitting next to him shows more then being "just cute", and I believe she has shown a great deal of strength. It was DT and Carolyn who told the Women to stop useing the "just be pleasing" to get ahead.

I found his comment about Amy quite true. When it comes time to choose someone from the other side Amy is choosen first. They ARE sending the message to Trump that they like her and want her on their team...so Trump is wondering, perhaps they are right and he should put her on his team. When he said that they were giving her power he was giving her a compliment.
At least that is how I read it.

When a team goes on a long winning streak (like the all women's Protege), the victories protect the team members who probably should get fired. Also, once the teams get too imbalanced, critical mass comes into play and it's harder in any competition to win if your on the team with fewer people.

Once the teams got mixed, it allowed Trump to get rid of some of the protected players (all of them women because they were always on the winning team for the first few weeks).

One thing that seems to be fairer after the 'corporate reshuffle' is that Trump is not allowing the teams to get too imbalanced. Once a team is down by two, they get to pick one from the other team. That wasn't happening during the first four weeks of the show.

I agree, rtrader. The weaker men were all dropped early, while the women were protected by the wins. I imagine in the next season, they'll even up teams more often and not let the imbalance get so bad. Hopefully they'll start with coed teams from the start as well.

One thing that seems to be fairer after the 'corporate reshuffle' is that Trump is not allowing the teams to get too imbalanced. Once a team is down by two, they get to pick one from the other team. That wasn't happening during the first four weeks of the show.

I think it would be more fair if the traded player was chosen randomly. The way it is, it seems to reward failure.

Or it could be really snarky and catty--let the winning team choose a player to send over. Then it would have been Tammy and Omarosa bouncing like ping pong balls from team to team!
