She shows up three times, very briefly. First time, and most identifiable, is right after they introduce the judges. She's there again a few minutes later, and then about 50 minutes into the show she's shown walking around pointing her imaginary pistol.
They never speak to her, we never hear or see her name, and she doesn't make the cut.
But it's got to be her.

It confused me too, Swami. Last nights show was just an overview of the early auditions. I believe the actual premier is tonight.
I watched most of it, and yes, that definitely was Larissa. I wonder if this show was taped prior to Average Joe Hawaii?

Next ACtion Star held an opening cast call in LA on 3/3/2003:

That was over 6 months after the show had been announced in September 2002:

...Next Action Star was originally supposed to be a Summer 2003 series (and it's unclear why it was delayed -- it could have been due to production issues, or it could have just been because NBC "didn't need it" last summer -- like what happened to Will Kirby's "Love Shack" show of a couple of years ago)
Anyways, my guess is the LA casting call was the last attempt to fill the cast, so Larissa's audition was probably on or before March 2003. And as we all know, Average Joe Hawaii was filmed sometime during Summer 2003:

Speaks of former reality DAW's washing up on this show, I've also been told that one of the Final 30 is also Dan the blonde guy from Boy Meets Boy on Bravo from last summer.
I guess this is what happens when you have a reality show that takes nearly two full years to finally get to the airwaves -- by the time people finally see it, some of these DAW's have already landed on other shows. Just it just confirms some of these folks are "serial" reality show wanna-be's, applying to everything out there. Kinda depressing.
Oh, and there goes Larissa Meek's "I didn't seek out a reality show, they came to me" excuse that she used when doing Average Joe publicity -- or is she going to claim Joel Silver dragged her down there? Anyways, I've sure she could care less at this point, the PAX network announced last month that they'll be airing some "models doing philanthropic projects" reality series this fall and Larissa will be the host.
