(Sorry, but I can’t support the Fellowship as I think that LOTR#1 was the Worst.Movie.Ever) First the banana flew from Atlanta to Buffalo 
Now, before you guys find out on your own, I figured I’d just ‘fess up. Again. So… obviously, I’m irresponsible. There was a little… accident, let’s say. Long story short, the banana flew out the car door en route to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Here it is way down the street from us. 
Well, we recovered it and put it back in the car, this time with a seat belt. *phew* That was a close one. Please don’t call Banana Protective Services on me. Anyway, we got to the Hockey Hall of Fame and were waiting to meet the LePews. 
We found them! I guess it’s hard to miss people toting a 3-foot inflatable banana. Here we are… 
We had lunch before we went in to the HHOF. Pippy just loved the banana (as did most kids… wait until it’s your turn. You’ll see that banana envy is prevalent in the under 5 crowd!)  
Pippy sat with the banana and had lunch with Pooh…

We parted ways with the LePews and the banana started to make friends with the HHOF staff. 
 
After the HHOF, we took the banana out for dinner. 
The next day, we were off to Niagara Falls. It wanted to work at the parking booth outside the IMAX theater.

Anyway, in a gift shop in Niagara Falls, the banana made friends with the locals (again… that banana is SO social!)  
Mmmmhmmm, that bear was scary. But we got the banana away from him. Thankfully. He looked kind of hungry. So, yeah, the banana had tons of fun going international with the LePews. It of course told me that the best part of the trip was the visit to the HHOF. It also told me it’s a Canucks fan. Don’t believe me? Here’s proof! 
In conclusion, I want to thank Nookie for getting the banana rolling, so to speak, and of course Poho for the inspiration. I want to thank CSTL and Debs for coming to visit, and of course the LePews for having the cutest little Pippy ever. I’m also glad, in retrospect, that we have an inflatable banana and not the plastic one, because that would be heavy to tote around. And? Kids love the inflatable fruit. Adults love to say “Wow, that’s a mighty big banana you have there.” The banana? Is tons-of-fun. It was fun having it and the OTers visit. And? The HHOF rules. That is all. Sorry this post is so big, but I had to share. Believe me, we have TONS more pix. Perhaps another time… ~ cq

This is what happens when my OT presence is sporadic at best.You guys drove right past me on the way from Buffalo to Toronto, and then again from Toronto to Niagara Falls. Nobody to blame but myself. Ah well. Is there any chance the banana will be in Cleveland in a couple weeks? At any rate, you guys looked like you had a great time. And Pepe, Pippy is getting so big!!!! Glad to see you're all doing well, and meeting more OT peeps. Hope the move goes well for you.
