Hopefully they will sprinkle enough good people during the show that we don't all off ourselves by the end of the episode. Do you people see that DAW up by my name? Did a 22 hour dance marathon. Dancing to I like to "Move it Move It" Or should I say "dancing" more like spasming, really. Mary is cackling. As he passes out on the stage they read the bio about he can dance for a long time without getting tired. Oh, she was Jesus...wait that doesn't help me understand her. She is from the planet New York. Ballroom dancers Pasha and Anya. Nigel's mouth is hanging open, and so is mine. That is cool, makes the peeps on Dancing with the Stars look like they forgot to practice at all. Nigel That was so hot, fabulous to watch, says both to Vegas. Mary says she doesn't have the stamina to be in this competition. Nigel upset that she is a dance teacher. I think you are working in a very dangerous area. He was trying not to be this mean, but I guess seeing those who can't do teach gets to him, as it does me, too. Chasmar Wells. Dance major. Holds that first pose a long times. Man I have more extension than that. Nigel is trying hard not to be mean to anyone, but it wasn't good. Mary, you have to listen to the music. Melissa Browne. You'd be great as the dancing version of Ugly Betty for a sit calm. Oh, poor Jenna crying on the phone saying she's quitting dance. Hannah Lee. From Isreal. Worked as a dancer in wedding halls. Stepped out and all the people in front of her dissapear, and she was swept down 3 and a half stories down. She was partly buried in the collapse. 24 people died. "More Day Two" Brought the members of the group SQ (status quo) Earnest "E-Knock" Phillips. Flips off the stage, sprins over one of the carts. You got the first excited Mary Scream today, you are dangerous. Dans says he does things no body else can do. Sent to choreography. Jamal his crewmate takes the stage. Not nearly as polished. You are wild and big and crazy. Mary asks if it is his own stuff. He says he does swing and Nigel wants him to go get a quick routine and show them, but then he says "sort of". Joel Vernaval his dance partner Carmen his ex-girlfriend. They are swing dancers. Very basic swing, heck we did more than that in High School Gym class. The Judges start dancing to have something to do while they finish up. They have no connections she's losing her balance all over the place Mary says its dreadful. They say they will be back next year. Carmen says she is a new dance instuctor. Ad said no experience required. Mary says she is not in reality at all. The most juvenile routine and vamping. "RE: More Day Two" I was upset that EKnock didn't make it..I couldn't really see him in the choreo shot...I loved Jamal..that swing routine was Fab!! They should have put him thru too... I think the only one with a name in graphics was Stanislav's sister Faina (to me she will be Stan's sister)...that's good for her...probably made it when the top 20 were chosen... she is tremendous... I love her footwork! The only other ones that I think have a good chance get to top 20 were the two ballroomers at beginning, Jamal (for ratings/star quality) and Ashley she's gorgeous. Unfortunately it seems a lot of the best at the breakdancing/freestyle stuff just never had any training at learning choreography. You'd have a hard time learning all those dances if you don't know how to learn it quickly. I'm not that great a dancer, but I can learn the routines really quickly. Maybe it is from being in dance class from ages 4-17. Dan says she showed style and technique, so she is going to Vegas. Nigel asks her straight to the mic and he says she has shown she is a good teacher. Katie a lot of pressure on you then. They split up three years ago but did dance together. For today he will be her partner. That was smokin'. To "Perhaps". Nigel. She is so much hotter than you are. You are the epitome of what we look for in a Latin dancer (Mary). Back for the swing. Jamal swings him around and under the legs. He is going for it! The judges are having a good time. Every now and again a star comes on the stage and you are a star (Nigel). Mary. That was a lot of fun. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Remember his Mom sticking up for him. New Motto "I'm the best" He says he has better moves and more training and hundreds of girls. Added some Latin flavor this year. Mary under the music, "I think he is on drugs." Is this from a "Latin" Aerobics routine? Gets a standing ovation from the crowd. Nigel asks, "Mary has sex improved for you this year?" That is the least sexy thing I have ever seen. And Sex does not agree. Dan "What did you do differently this year?" Sex says better move, more training. Nigel says, "I don't know what you want?" He wants to be a dancer. Nigel says "Not on this planet." You are being rude by saying you are even in the same class as them. Sex tells Nigel he isn't a judge and he is rude. He is told to leave the stage and he won't go. Finally he leaves with "Sex is Back" Mrs. Sex is back. Nigel tells her that she is helping him be delusional. He doesn't listen like she doesn't listen. She says you can't take a dream away and Nigel tries to be a reality check. Nigel asks the pair of them to do him a favor and not come back next year. And we are on to the choreography round. E-knock doesn't go, but Jamal and Hannah Lee both are going to Vegas. 59 total contestants headed to Vegas. Next Weds. Even if he does audition, don't show the poor deluded guy. DH was more reacting to Nigel crushing the man's dream. He thinks that dance belongs to everyone and noone has a right to define it (and I agree), but I contend that in the constructs of this show, Nigel has every right. If the reality talent shows would stop focussing on the truly awful DAWs, I think the skill level of the auditioners would improve. Try reading my message again, but from within the gutter this time. Perhaps another stab at innuendo? But on a serious note. I concur. Dancing can be described as any sort of movement (or lack of movement) as long as the person beleives themselves to be a good dancer. And some of the folks are actually good dancers, if you want to go out dancing with them, but do not posses the polished technique and are capable of multiple disciplines required to succeed on this show. Sadly, It seems auditions are all about the "crazies" and don't show enough of the actual Top 24 or 20 or those that even make it past Vegas. I know they go live soon, so they have to have their cast already. I was going to log on last night and see if anyone was doing a spoiler thread, but I figured there wasn't enough interest. Sorry, Snidge. I liked the premiere. I usually get annoyed when we see far more bad contestants than good ones, so I decided to keep count last night. Of the people that we saw actually perform more than 10 seconds of the routine, it was pretty even. I think I counted 9 bad and 10 good. There was too much Dancing Derrick and Sex, but as long as there are only 2 or 3 of these audition shows, I think I can live with it. That video of the dance floor collapsing was amazing! How frightening! I hope Hannah makes the show. LOL at Jamal's "swing" routine. I was surprised that they put him through to Vegas. I doubt he makes the show, unless it's purely for comic relief. Dan Karaty is still really, really cute. I think Wade Robson might be a regular choreographer this season! He was shown judging some of the auditions in the previews. Woot! 2 of the routines that I loved the most from last year were his. (The group "Ramalama" routine and Heidi/Travis African dance, for any other geeks who remember all of last years dances.)
