With NBC airing the Olympics at 4%3A00pm%2C M-F from February 13th - 24th%2C we had an extra hour of programming%2C which meant we had to pre-empt one of our%0D%0Asyndicated programs.  Originally%2C we had planned on pre-empting %22Tyra%22%2C but when we were notified by the producers of %22Starting Over%22 that it is %0D%0Abeing cancelled in September%2C we decided to air a program that we know will be onour air next September.%0D%0A%0D%0ACANCELLED IN SEPTEMBER%3F Does anyone else know about this%3F If this is true%2C then we only have a few more months of new episodes b%2Fc they always show re-runs over the summer. I think he wants to start with a clean slate under his own company since Mary Ellis Bunim passed away.  So that means...see you later Starting Over.  I was so bummed when I heard.  I love Starting Over and I intend to sign the petition.  Unfortunately%2C I think if the show is property of Bunim%2FMurray Productions%2C a petition won%27t have any effect. My wife and I both love the show and have learned so much for%2Fabout ourselves.  I read on someone%27s post awhile back that they called Rhonda%27s Fearless Living phone number and actually spoke to Rhonda.  So I tried it about a month ago and was able to speak directly with her primary assistant about the show.  She said that Rhonda plans to either do SO4 or continue LCing by creating some other similar type of show if SO is not renewed.  She apparently has built up quite a list of contacts during the past 3 seasons and will push to get something else going.  Her assistant seemed to believe that one or the other would happen.  I also read on another website that Iyanla%2C whom lives in Silver Springs%2C MD%28or somewhere near that City%29 does not plan to return no matter what%2C that she had already made up her mind during the SO3 season.  Obviously that is only a rumor at this point%2C have yet to find anything to substanciated this.  But my wife and I would be very sad if SO continued without her%2C she is terrific%21%21  We have a great deal of respect for her.%0D%0A%0D%0AIf I can live a little more fearlessly%2C I%27ll try Iyanla%27s contact phone number too and see what they say. Being a sufferer of clinical depression it is very difficult to get up and look good much less feel good a majority of the time.  That%27s why she doesn%27t have any %22get up and go%22 look to her%2C because she doesn%27t have any %22get up and go.%22  She%27s in the corner a lot because she%27s depressed and sad. Even when I became disgusted with some of the episodes%2C I made myself find a positive message or lesson%2C no matter how big or small%2C everyday%2C even if it%27s only reinforcing a previous point... The first time I heard this show%2C I was in the hospital battling spinal meningitis as well as a widespread secondary infection%2C which caused me to lose my sight and 60%25 of my hearing.  For one hour everday%2C it really helped me escape from the excruiting pain and it gave me hope that I could actually beat it%2C despite the negative prognosis the dr.%27s had given me. This show actually did help save my life...

If the SOH creators%2Ftv gods...really care about helping ppl...the show wouldn%27t end. there is so much trash tv on that you don%27t need a single brain cell to watch it. this show may cause alot of ugly remarks i%27m not crazy about but it is at least causing remarks and getting attention and making some ppl think..and i felt it was a therapy session everyday....no matter how i felt about which ever female or couple were on the most each day..there was never a day where something or someone didn%27t touch me in a very personal way. it made me know even this late in my life i can start over. i actually went and had my husband shave my head..i%27ve gone thru alot of emotional and physical changes that were bad and it was a way of me saying bye to the old me..who bleached her hair..who tried to satisfy other%27s ppl%27s expectations %28society%29 of me and to say..i did it many yrs ago..my own thing%2C it%27s time to do it again and i%27m OK..i%27m actually OK the way i am. it%27s all about money..if they take the show off..those in power who do that..they%27re just greedy fake ppl...they%27re the ones who should be getting called names..is is all about money or is it really about starting over%3F women seem as always...to be looked over..passed over. you know if it were mens sports or a mans show it%27d be on. i mean look at all the trash tv we have. it%27s a man%27s world but it%27s time they started realizing women brought them here and look up to us and women%27s needs in every profession. medical%2C political and in entertainment. this show helped my husband. and any man who watches it to me is a real man. so many laugh it off or say it%27s emotional. becuz they stuff their feelings or cannot communicate. this show helped me with my husband. i met him with alot of baggage and it%27s brought alot of answers to us we needed and gave us things to talk about that benefited us. if it was up to me it%27d be two hours long and not edited. so who really are the attention whores%3F those in charge..that%27s who.

The problem is most stations won%27t take both so it is likely to be one or the other%2C and since a lot of stations bumped SO to 3 am those stations are probably looking at the new show rather than the old one.  Seems they already gave up on SO but still have to show it as that is the contract so they would be likely stations to jump ship to a new program.%0D%0A%0D%0AA lot probably depends on what the local stations are saying to the syndicator.  With shows in syndication often it is whether or not they get enough stations that want it even more than how many viewers want it.%0D%0A%0D%0AIt isn%27t network%2C they can%27t make the stations show it%2C so if they don%27t have enough assorted stations they won%27t renew it.%0D%0A%0D%0AETA.  The May 17th news article on the web said that  it hasn%27t been cancelled%2C yet%2C but it sounded like it is not expected to return.  It is still %22on the bubble%22. I agree with Snidget--having worked in television%2C a lot depends on how many station opt to pick it up.  I%27m in the Boston area which is a major market and my local station airs SO at 9%3A00-10%3A00A%2C M-F.  I%27ve sent them an email re. status of next year and will let you all know when I get response.  Of course%2C if the producers aren%27t producing it%2C and the distributors aren%27t distributing it%2C the stations won%27t have anything to pick up%21  I am so impressed with what an awesome bunch of dedicated viewers you all are%21  Here%27s hoping we can make a difference%21

I don%27t know if another syndicated show producer would pick it up or not.  Doesn%27t seem that likely.  TLC showed it for awhile%2C but given they have not done that for a long time I don%27t now that they would pick up the re-runs to show.  Not sure if any of the women%27s only cable stations would pick up the re-runs either.
