PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate
attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't
be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats,
but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other
posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out
how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are
encouraged to read the
complete guidelines.

Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue
with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

"NCAA Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championship" |
So, who do you like in tonight's Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championship contests? I couldn't find a neutral story about it, so I'll just post a link for ETSU's Justin Tubbs, the one I want to win the Slam Dunk. (You'll have to copy and paste the URL because the link doesn't seem to like the apostrophe in the web address.)http://www.etsubucs.com/sports/mbball/releases/tubbs_to_compete_in_denny’s_slam_dunk_contest.aspx Other players competing are Gilbert Brown, Pittsburgh; Justin Burrell, St. John’s; Will Coleman, Memphis; Billy White, San Diego State; Darnell Wilks, Cincinnati; John Williams, UNC Asheville; and Jacob Tucker, Illinois College. I bet emydi is rooting for Gilbert Brown. And no doubt jbug wants Will Coleman to win. But the underdog has got to be Jacob Tucker, a 5'11" guard from Division III Illinois College, who was invited due to a YouTube video that went viral. http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/news/story?id=6197514 There's also a 3-Point contest for men and one for women, but I couldn't find any stories that listed their names. And an added shout-out to ETSU for making it to the Final Four of the CIT. No, it's not the Big Dance. Not even the Junior Prom. But a Sock Hop is still post-season play. http://www.collegeinsider.com/tournament/results.html
I guess I really showed my age using the term Sock Hop.
