minitroll 3871 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Thong Contest Judge" 10-09-10, 05:53 PM (EST) "SBOT NASCAR - California" Congratulations to Vince3 for coming in first in the regular game last week! In the Pick 43, I somehow managed to take the win by just 3 points over Nutzy. Only 7 races left! NASCAR heads to the Auto Club Speedway for the last fall race in Fontana. Starting next year, there will only be a spring race in Fontana. Here are your track facts: Completed : 1997 Distance : 2 miles Shape : D-shaped oval Banking : 14° turns 11° frontstretch 3° backstretch Frontstretch : 3,100 feet Backstretch : 2,500 feet Seating : 92,000 It's going to be a hot one tomorrow. The temperature is supposed to be in the low 90's at race time. Jimmie Johnson took over the lead in the chase after last week's race, but the standings are still so close that just about any of the chasers except Clint Bowyer still have a chance at winning the whole thing. In other NASCAR news, it looks like the crews are going to have the giant sinkhole at Charlotte Motor Speedway repaired in time for next week's Saturday night race. The pipes have been repaired, new dirt has been filled in, several inches of gravel have been placed on top of the fill, and they could begin spreading asphalt as early as today.
