Oddly, I'm not sure he's racist -- at least not in the classic sense. He may just be willing to insult any race, color, or creed that happens to be coming up against him in a future match. This might have been an ultra-publicity grab: hey, the more people I offend, the larger the purse is gonna be! He hasn't exactly shown himself to be above that in the past.But I also think he's like a lot of boxers in that no one's ever given him a dictionary with 'No' bookmarked and highlighted. People around him happily enable whatever he does because he's where the money comes from. So could he be an Original Flavor racist who just got a really vocal forum? Sure, very easily. Socially, however? Total moron. Because even a boxer's publicity grab has to acknowledge some chance of backlash, and as for being that racist in front of a camera -- well, it's easier to apologize than not speak, isn't it? At least one columnist is arguing that Mayweather's getting a semi-free pass for being Afrimerican. Thankfully, the columnist is as well.

I hope I understood your post correctly.  Not very good English.The video, IMO, is an obvious publicity stunt. For what, I'm not sure. IIRC, he's not scheduled to fight anyone for the rest of the year. Maybe he just wants to be talked about while he's on break. The problem with apologies like this one is that they're so easy to make. Of course, they're the right thing to do, but the credibility and sincerity of the apology is doubtful at best. One minor slip-up in a sentence is forgivable. Ignorable, even. And in some rare cases, understandable. Ten full minutes of racist remarks without realizing you're making racist remarks? Makes both you and your statement racist. I think I'm speaking for all of my fellow Asian midgets when I say that his apology is not just unaccepted, but also unacceptable. Oh, and he needs to get his eyes checked. We're brown, not yellow.
