Okay, so here's what I see for the year:
AFC East -
Miami surprises a lot of people and takes the division; I love their RB situation
NY Jets squeek into the play-offs; I'm not sold on their QB
New England are on the downside of an era; their best players are getting old or are having car accidents
Buffalo... they still have an NFL franchise in Buffalo? AFC North -
Pittsburgh survives a bad first quarter and has an extended winning streak at the end; doesn't excuse Ben for being a perv, though
Cincinnati won the division last year and didn't lose a lot of people; they're back in the play-offs ahead of the Jets in the wildcard
Baltimore added some WR who were good at one point in their careers but were cast off because of personnel issues; plus, the secondary here can be burned
Cleveland is Cleveland AFC South -
Indianapolis still tops the division caveat: Payton is overdue for an injury, in which case Titans take the division
Tennessee does well but just misses the play-offs
Houston gets swept by the NFC East teams; where Tennessee gets the Steelers without a good QB, Texans gets the Ravens on Monday Night
Jacksonville is probably a nice place to visit AFC West -
San Diego *sigh* sometimes these divison winners get boring year after year at the top
Kansas City WHAT!?! Yes, the Chiefs are improving and they have premium coaching staff; still not enough for a play-off spot
Oakland... meh
Denver is going to be suffering for a while NFC East - By far the hardest division to rank, I say less than three wins difference between first place and last place
Dallas has the fewest questions with the most proven commodities
Washington - Although I actually gave the Giants and Eagles more wins, I just have a feeling the experience brought to this team will somehow get them more wins than I think they would earn on paper - enough for a wild card spot
NY Giants are pretty good, but I'm not an Eli fan; plus, they have a disgruntled running back
Philadelphia had my early tag for division winner because of the defense, but I just don't know how Kolb is going to do; I almost had to start flipping coins to place these four teams NFC North -
Green Bay in a walk
Detroit WHAT!?!#2 Yes, Detroit is improving folks
Minnesota will have a complete fade down the stretch, it will be ugly
Chicago at the bottom because Coach Martz is not what that any quarterback needs NFC South -
New Orleans has all the tools
Atlanta almost got bumped from a wildcard spot in favor of another NFC east team, but I think Atlanta has a more favorable schedule than any of the East teams
Carolina is not going to look good
Tampa Bay is going to look worse NFC West -
San Francisco has the best set of players in this division
St. Louis, but only because I expect the Cardinals to really fall from grace
Arizona is going to have big QB troubles
Seattle has a college coach who will not adjust well; plus they lack skill players all over the place So, in my world, the play-offs look like this -
week one: Pittsburgh over Jets, Miami beats Cincy; Washington upsets Dallas, Atlanta eliminates San Fran
week two - San Diego barely beats Miami, Pittsburgh upsets Indy; New Orleans defeats Washington, Green Bay beats Atlanta in the cold
Championships - Pittsburgh over San Diego; New Orleans over Green Bay
Superbowl - A repeat for New Orleans Everybody says "It's hard to repeat", but New England took 3 in four years in the '00s, Denver had two in a row and Dallas took 3 in four years in the '90s, the 49ers did back-to-back as part of four victories in the '80s, Steelers did two in a row twice in the '70s, Miami also had a pair in '72-'73, and the Packers initiated the Superbowl era with back-to-back victories. So no, it's not hard to repeat.

Be back later with the rest of my picks. For now...My pick for tonight: New Orleans to win over the Favres. Initially I thought maybe the Saints would have a little hangover and be ripe for a loss tonight, especially with the Favres motivated to show they're better than the Saints. But then again, the Favre Show ate up a lot of focus with Childress orgasmically humping Favre's leg at the expense of the rest of the team. And Favre is still recovering from ankle surgery. Will the team be gelling this early with the coach slobbering over Favre before he finally showed up? Nah, I like the Saints more than the Favres at this point in time. Ask me again in January and my answer might be different.
