Reality TV World Message Board Forums
PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats, but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are encouraged to read the complete guidelines. As entertainment critic Roger Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

At this point, isn't trading for him the baseball GM equivalent of saying 'Why yes, given a fifty-fifty chance between temporary
contention with total team destruction later or just getting total team destruction now, I choose to flip the coin which ultimately means my team will be destroyed.' Or in shorter terms, 'Screw it: he might hit a home run.' Except that his body is on the downhill slope of the cycle, his personality has gotten him run out of every single place he's ever played, and he doesn't care. Plus if you're looking for bonus points, Scott Boras is still his agent. And you're pairing this nutcase with the least sane manager in the sport. At some point, their craziness is going to meld. And reproduce.

No drugs left. No talent left. Ego, entitlement, and total lack of maturity still in place.

I give him ten years before he officially perjures himself before Congress.

And then he'll blame his translator.
