jackandjill 204 desperate attention whore postings DAW Level: "Network TV Show Guest Star" 11-24-04, 09:52 AM (EST) "Merge" Do you think the two tribes, er, two tubbies, er, I mean the two groups are going to merge like mashed potatoes and gravy next week? It would be fun to see individual immunity, er challenges, like covering the contestants with frosting and the first person who licks themself loses, or each has to man the fry station at Micky Ds and the first one to sneak a fry goes home. "RE: Merge" LAST EDITED ON 12-01-04 AT 05:43 PM (EST) How would they do that since both diet strategies vary (one working out the other working out and eating more)? I'm curious to see. The before and after pictures (when the contestants are voted out) seem to really be paying off. If you look at the before and after when they weigh in...check out their faces. Some of the contestants have lost a double chin and you can see the accomplishment shine through in their smiles. I think that they may do a little change to the diet, and definite change to the exercise program. Maybe mix it up for each of them. Part of this show is to also show that there is not just ONE way to lose weight and that variety is good. You get sick and tired of the same thing over and over, that's why most of them have the problems they do, boredom with the same thing. My DH went on a diet and now cannot even look at greens and mustard. It's more of a lifestyle change that he (and the peeps on the show) have to do. Not sure how it's going to work but it's such a big part of the game. The two different types of diets really force you to look at what is similiar - the exercise program. The only way to lose weight - and keep it off - is to combine some structured food intake program with an exercise regime. Release the endorphins, change the metabolism, burn more than you take in. These folks have really lost a lot of weight in a very short period of time. I wish they'd at least mention the medical issues. I guarantee each contestant is checked daily by medical personnel.
