Quite frankly, I sorta enjoyed this show. I thought it was pretty interesting how we got to see the stunts being done and the whole process. I was also pleased that they had judges picking who when on and who was kicked off (rather than letting AMERICA do it!! What a bad idea). And, best yet, I actually agreed with the two finalists selected. How often does that ever happen? That being said, I have no idea if I'll watch the final product or not. LAST EDITED ON 08-05-04 AT 00:45 AM (EST) actually, i was pleasantly surprised (that's what happens when your expectations are below 0). not bad, for an action movie. nevermind that the plot was basically stolen from The Game, except they really were trying to kill him. Okay, I'm with you, it was about what I expected. Heck, it's not any worse or implausible than, say, "24" or something of that ilk. We know it's cheese, but we watch it anyway. Was it any worse than "The Last Boy Scout"? They didn't need a plot. It was just "The Most Dangerous Game" short story like we all read in 7th grade. But it's a tried and true plot and has been remade over and over and over.... I was pleased that it was Sean and not Jared in the starring role. Can you see Jared as a former QB? HAHAHAHAHAHA....as it was, he even overacted "cab driver." Corinne was definitely in a supporting role, but did it well. I watched...and it was a true effort. Any way to get hose two hours of my life back? Luckily, TiVO saved me the agony of sitting through the commercials waiting for the exciting next scene! The whole thing came off very "amateurish". I started feeling sorry for all the extras that had to keep from outshining the "stars" by just standing around! All I could think of was that it looked like the entire thing was acted in front of a blue screen and they cut the "Next Action Stars" in after the movie was already finished. It did get me thinking though. Assuming the script was already written, I'm pretty sure they must have picked Sean right near the beginning of the show. He really looked like an ex-quarterback.
