The Banjo Babes are on stage warming up for the second annual Banjo Calendar Girls Costume Blast. They forgot to advertise the first annual BCGCB, so it was more of a private affair, but this year they laid out the BBQ, the corn on the cob, the grits, the slaw, and the hush puppies, and invited everyone. Costumes encouraged.Snidget showed up in her rubber duckie outfit, Estee as Elvira, Crabman as a Ali G imitating Elvis, Tribe as, well, we can't really tell what that disco ball hat and neon fur outfit is supposed to be, and Fooner as Ben Franklin, lightening bolt and all. Say something wise, Ben. I, of course, am in my award winning "Sorry Charlie" rig. And we are all dosey-doing and sashaying on the dance floor to the music of the Appalacian Rags. Hard to tell who else is here, what with all the flash confetti and fireworks.
