I was hoping that maybe because of the huge response from peeps to the "knock knock" post,( many from peeps who haven't been around too much lately)we might get a resurgence of sorts on OT. I seem to be wrong I'm afraid. I'm worried that many of our posters aren't coming back anytime soon. I wonder if this is still being looked into as Ayak indicated.

... to making a successful switch over to FB (at least it worked for me 1) Make a FB name that conveys your SBOT identity (mine is Icey Katt) that will pass the FB name checker. Some people just use their regular pre-existing IRL FB account. 2) Here's the important part... In the SBOT group, if you scroll through the posts down to near the bottom, you'll find a link to something called the 'Cheat Sheet'. It contains a cross reference list matching people's FB account names to the names they had on SBOT. 3) Send out friend requests to the folks on the list and suddenly your seeing the posts of all your old friends from SBOT. It's really quite amazing... there are hamsters, dangerous kitties, moon people, frozen felines. Seek the Cheat Sheet and all will be revealed...

I'm here too.Watched "Once a time in the West" over the week end. A brilliant movie, Henry Fonda shoots a 12 YO (ish) boy dead in cold blood, and Jack Elam has a spectacular 3 minutes that ends up with him catching a fly in his gun barrel. Just about my favorite Western Actor. And a favorite movie too, Sergio was ahead of his time, just think what he could do with today’s movie making tools. But you have to keep from falling asleep, it is the prime example of the less is more method of acting. Long expressionless looks that impart various messages is the hallmark. Otherwise, I'm here too. Oh yeah, there was a football game too. Sort of. Look at this post. And weep. We all miss Estee.

I couldn't find a way to get the old one to work. I sort of went away and hoped that Webby would reset this place, so that those of us who got locked out could return to our previous selves. Looks like the ship has sailed on that, so now I am back to a Milk Spokesman.
