PLEASE NOTE: The Reality TV World Message Boards are filled with desperate attention-seekers pretending to be one big happy PG/PG13-rated family. Don't be fooled. Trying to get everyone to agree with you is like herding cats, but intolerance for other viewpoints is NOT welcome and respect for other posters IS required at all times. Jump in and play, and you'll soon find out how easy it is to fit in, but save your drama for your mama. All members are encouraged to read the complete guidelines. As entertainment critic Roger Ebert once said, "If you disagree with something I write, tell me so, argue with me, correct me--but don't tell me to shut up. That's not the American way."

Sounds like the Lime Street line was right on time.

Not apropos, but, well, it is a color.

I literally teared up at the cake that said, "Happy 40th Zoe with 2 dots over the E".

If I ever get the chance to frost a cake for someone with such a name I think I will do that.

7. "The A.S.S.cestor."
"Minor Spider-Man villain Spellcheck is such a stickler for grammar, syntax, and usage that he, inspired by the letter and punctuation themed Typeface, puts on a costume and beats people up over it. He goes after Spider-Man because the hyphen (-) between his Super Hero name is unnecessary."

It has been noted that Peter tends to get the nutcases.

Can I put in near miss as a bugbear of mine.

If you nearly miss it means you hit, if two cars nearly missed each other then they hit each other.

It may not look like much but the intensity of putting it down has made me feel a lot better

Proof copy.

Here, I just want to thank my sophomore high-school English teacher, Ms Wingfield. I still have our grammar and usage book in my library. Oh, she was a tough cookie, having us rewrite a paper throughout an entire semester, all five revisions. From her we learned the power of ruthless proofing and editing, with the first copy completely transformed by the time of the fifth copy.

And what's wonderful about her is that she also had us write free-form open journals, not at all subject the rules of grammar, style or prose. Just write! I filled pages and pages of prose, poetry, Mad magazine style humor and whatever else struck my mind. Write your mind, write your heart, write your spirit. She was a very kind lady and mindful teacher who I will always remember fondly.

Yes, I shamelessly broke some grammatical rules within this post, but sometimes what is being said is more important than the conventions by which it is said.
