Clues: The Noah's Ark is the last one in the country and Buckeye Candy. Posted from PA... Coffee from Pittsburgh and sweeties also from PA. Firstly looked up Noah's Ark, and the largest waterpark in the US is in Wisconsin, and there is someone at a certain university there with the addressers name, and who else is at the university but a certain Weltek! However... Unless Wisconsin has moved to the Appalachians it is unlikely to have Buckeye trees which my Secret Santa assures me are common where they live. Then again everything else is pointing towards PA, not too sure who lives in that area, but my guess is FlowerPower! I deal with Customs on a daily basis and they do not take kindly to wrapped presents if they have to inspect something. Since the magnet seemed to trip you up, Noah's Ark is a ride at the local amusement park, Kennywood. Here is the wikipedia info on it and a picture. A walk-through "dark" attraction. Patrons walk through an ark recreating Noah's attempt at bringing animals aboard. This ride, the last operating of its kind in the world, was remodeled in 1996. During the remodeling, the Ark was entirely rebuilt due to structural problems with the original "boat." Instead of entering through a whale's mouth, patrons now board a freight elevator that provides the effect of rising, then crashing to the ground. Part of the re-theming of the ride includes props meant to appear like ancient artifacts that were found below the Ark. Older gags no longer part of the ark included air jets that would shoot up from the ground to catch a girl wearing a skirt off guard. "How odd?" one thought. I didn't recognize the sender (an internet search showed it to be a vendor). I opened it, and out popped a little rubber ducky with a sailor suit. Baffled, I posted on another thread about this. Our lady of qwertypie quickly emailed me to tell me that it was a SS gift and that more were coming and that no she wasn't the SS. The rubber ducky quickly found his home on the piano. Cute little guy. And, given Byoffer's fondness of me in my sailor suit, I thought maybe he was the culprit. A couple days later, a box appeared at the door. It also had "Esq." on it, so I figured that was my SS. I was gonna wait until Christmas Day for this one, so I set it aside. This was postmarked Texas, and I didn't recognize the name. Was this a new name for Kim? or Tim? or maybe Boner got back into the act? Hmmm..... Then, a couple days later, yet another package came from yet another address. This one from California. And there was "Esq" again, so I knew that something was up. I thought this would be wrapped on the inside like the above Texas one was, so I opened up the box. The first thing I saw was a flurry of huge Cadbury's Chocolate bars. Who knew they made more than chocolate Easter eggs? I began to get suspicious about a certain squire across the puddle. I found a bubble-wrapped bulldog. Hmmm... An accent seemed to be appearing in my thoughts. Then I found a refrigerator magnet with the young prince and his bride, and I was pretty sure. Not convinced, but close. Then a mouse pad with the British flag and other things Brittania on it made me sure enough to make a guess. I messaged our Mr. Shine on the other side of the pond, and yup, it was him. I still hadn't gone through the tons of goodies inside. I was hoping for some nice English tea (so I could see what it tasted like), and yup, there was a box stuffed full of teabags. I tried one, and it was great! I now have a cup every day. Great stuff. Well, there was still that mysterious box from Texas. And out popped a bottle of bacon soda! Well, I love bacon, and this was certainly heart healthy!! Thank you thank you thank you. The chocolate is astonishingly good. I'm using all my self-control to keep from eating it at once. I've already polished off the chocolate covered Brazil nuts, the fruit and chocolate bar, the chocolate bar with some kind of subtle-flavored white filling (delicious). I'm about halfway through the chocolate covered caramel twists and have begun the dark chocolate. These ain't small bars, either -- they're huge! Sweetie's been giving me a hand with them. A box chock full of stuff arrived yesterday and a BIG envelope arrived today, both from someone named Secret Santa. The box contained a cool organic soy candle, a panda bear (you guess if it's actual size or not), a cute kitty cat creamer, a box of dark chocolates which my husband confiscated, and the one that gave me the biggest laugh: a bottle of crystal geyser water! In the thread about gifts we wanted, I said that I drank water and that the crystal geyser bottles were the hardest to open. So, gee, thanks. I'll be up all night trying to open it and Mr. Puffy won't even help me. The envelope contained a great 2013 Kool Kats calendar. I guess my secret santa knew that the Mayans were wrong and that we'd live to see 2013. Each month has a cute picture. I am so glad you finally got it and enjoyed it all. The cookbook goes all the way back to 2001 in case you hadn't gone through all 7MB of it. And I am sorry it lacks the page numbers as I hadn't finished it while I waited for Dec.'s OTCC recipe which never came. I printed it out at work, put the pages in protectors and put it all in a big binder. It's pretty, isn't it? One day I will have it printed for real since when I went to get it published it was 50$ per book and I want to buy and gift them to everyone who wants one. That is one of my goals for this year I still have the 2 smaller gifts I forgot to wrap and put in the box and didn't get to it this past week while being burried in creating my website.
