Got gas on Sat for $3.019 (at Kroger after Plus card 3 cent discount). I heard that TN has the lowest gas prices in the nation. What are the rest of you paying? (and please let the gas gougers not take advantage of our friends in NY & NJ.) How about north of the border? and across the big pond?

I could pay $3.19.9 if I had something to put it in. That's also the state low. Gouging is -- difficult to quantify. Going to rationing (odd plates on odds days, even on even ones, anyone with a vanity is considered odd) has cut down the lines, but not the prices for those stations who decided to skyrocket: falling back to the mean has been slow. Local suspicion is that they're getting gouged by their suppliers, especially the independents. Chains seem to be doing a little better -- or a lot, for those with reserves in-state. Hess, with its national HQ placed here and tanks scattered across the landscape, has been holding the line.
The NY situation around Long Island is not to be discussed. Just don't cut in the lines there. Horrible things have been happening to people who cut in the lines. It's only appropriate retribution for the first two seconds...

Oh. and it's like $1.20-$1.25/litre here whatever that becomes (about $3.80?). Ottawa seems to have it better than Toronto and Montreal is always more expensive when it comes to gas.

It's in the $1.20-1.25 range here in my area as well. $1.25 per litre works out to $4.73 per gallon if the Canadian dollar is exactly at par to the U.S. dollar.
(At $1.25, for example: for every cent higher in Canadian to the US dollar, add four or five cents per gallon)

...gas prices there are $0.09 per gallon.
To fill up a 39-gallon Chevy Suburban, it costs all of $3.51 to fill it up. In the U.S., it would cost an average of $146.25 (if you're in Norway, it'd cost $394.68).

I remember when I bought the Miata (1991), I had to be completely empty and "squeeze" to get $10 in it (10 gal tank).

Last Thursday I paid $4.09. It was the day before license plate rationing. On station was selling at $4.59 and would only accept cash and max of $40.00 per car.
I see most stations now are around $4.09-$4.19.
Gas lines have eased as more stations have regained power and deliveries are being made.

$4.52 / gallon, which in US dollars is significantly less than what we had to pay around a year ago. In Philippine pesos, it's pretty much the same as last year.
