That's generally the plan, yeah. Some people believe it's possible to bounce up and down the timestream so that lifetimes aren't necessarily consecutive -- but I've never heard anyone say you could have one soul in two places at the same time.

We heard it differently, then. The way I had it was 'All souls are actually parts of one soul: that of the creator. Aspects of that being incarnate so as to experience every possible way of life, every pain, every joy, every bit of good and evil there could ever be, in order to understand fully what all those things truly are. And when all is understood, that is when it ends.'
Which has some really dark implications if you chase it too far.

We hear it the same, then, as one soul with the creator, you describe it well. Yes, it is very scary to know and experience the dark implications, especially if you live (or have lived) the life of those who have experienced it, and as you say, every way of life, every pain and every joy (and I believe that we all do, whether we realize it or not). Some of it is horrific, some of it is very joyous and uplifting.
Chase it, light or dark, as far as you want to, I believe that there is a blessing in all this for each of us with our gift of life and sentience.

I still think of him as Calvin Broadus. That's the name he had to use when he was involved in the same youth football program I was (and still am) with about 10 years ago. (My recollection is we beat him by a touchdown) He got booted out because too many of his staff were found smoking non-tobacco-type material after (sometimes during) games. He took his megabucks and formed his own (smoke tolerant) league.
