"Serious about two women" |
Folks, I posted this information a few years ago, but it is worth repeating. When I was 27 and still single, I was dating two women. Both were 5"10" both were named Karen Louise, Both bought my mother the same Xmas card, and the signatures on both cards were virtually identical. I was having a more and more difficult time making a decision. I knew it was possible to love two people as much. While my solution was different than brads, I can understand the confusion he was places in. I finally sat at my desk one night and put a line down the center of a sheet of paper. Then I listed all the positive and negative things about both women. I MARRIED the one who scored best on my list. We are just getting to 40 years together, through good and bad times. I know typical Engineer Ben

1. "RE: Serious about two women" |
Ben,Did you not only love both women, but were you actually head-over-heels starry-eyed in love with both of them? Some people think they're in love when they're really just infatuated. Other people have real, enduring love. Before the internet, I read about a woman who took out an ad in a newspaper, met about 70 men, and married the best one. I read about one couple who live in separate houses across the street from each other. Did you love any women before you met your wife, but decided to get married at 27 because you thought that you "should" be married by that age? I think Brad went on the show because both of his brothers are married, and he felt that it was time for him to get married too... it's not something that he really "wants" to do, it's something that he thinks he should do.
