They had to fly through Moscow, where a few teams were lucky enough to make the earliest connection. Once in Siberia, they were faced with the detour - stack - a bunch of firewood or - construct - some house shutters. All the teams chose to stack, but Mark/Michael, Mel/Mike and Amanda/Kris switched tasks. After the detour was a blind U-turn, where you can u-turn some team and you don't have to post your picture. Margie/Luke u-turned Amanda/Kris to give Cara/Jamie more time to stack. Then it was off to the roadblock, ride a bobsled run in four minutes or less while finding letters to unscramble. After unscrambling, teams were directed to the pit stop. Don't forget to check out last week's rankings,from kid-stat-flash.
Rank. Names (last week's rank)
1. Mel/Mike (1) – I know they fell to the back of the pack, but I like these guys!
2. Tammy/Victor (6) – They move up because they had another great leg! They were in the second group, but wound up jumping ahead to take third for the leg! 3. Cara/Jaime (3) – I like them too. They got a little advantage from Margie/Luke, but I don't think they needed it since a few teams switched tasks and they stuck with the stacks. 4. Kisha/Jen (7) – Did a good job this leg with no drama. 5. Mark/Michael (5) – How long do you wander around looking for a house? They were in the top three on the first flight, but wound up almost at the bottom... and then, they didn't have enough money for the taxi. Nice guys, but big mistakes. 6. Margie/Luke (2) – That was a little bit evil to u-turn Amanda/Kris after they saw their stack of wood fall down. 7. Christie/Jodi (8) – I know they had a great leg and came in first, but I just don't like them as much as the other teams.
Philiminated: Amanda/Kris (4) – Too bad they were u-turned as they were in last and likely were eliminated anyway. Overall, they were a pretty good team.

With the Philimination of Amanda/Kris, I'm officially watching the remainder of the season under protest.Me likey:
1. Cara/Jaime (2) - They're the last hope of redemption for this season. Next time, use the Lufthansa trick to book the wrong-way stuntmen to a location far, far away. (Like they'd notice.) Meh:
2. Mel/Mike (4) - This team has surprised me, both with their racing abilities and their personalities. Me no likey:
3. Mark/Michael (5) - They're decent guys, but their racing incompetence is appalling.
4. Christie/Jodi (7) - A nice effort by Team Wheelie this leg, but has the clue bird arrived permanently or just temporarily? Using the Internet cafe was a smart move.
5. Kisha/Jen (6) - Where did that second-place finish come from? Maybe they have a little game after all, but I still don't like them.
6. Tammy/Victor (8) - Glad to see the reappearance of Team Smug Ivy Leaguers.
7. Margie/Luke (3) - Luke is officially on my last nerve. Temper tantrums, spiteful U-turn of a team way behind them, what more is there to say? Please go home next. Philiminated. Amanda/Kris (1) - Had terrible luck throughout the leg, and paid the price for it. Here's hoping they have a happy life together.

1. Mel and Mike--(1)(1)(1) I saw the end of School of Rock this weekend...I love that movie, last nite, TAR was up against Nacho Libre! They are a really good team.2. Margie and Luke--(3)(3)(3) Okay, I felt back for Luke a bit, he really has a temper. Evil Luke goes to the dark side, he didn't even flinch before uturning them...and Amanda and Kris were so wrong on who kicked them out of the game. 3. Lakisha and Jennifer (6)(7)(6) they did well this week and no drama so they move up this week 4. Cara & Jaime-(7)(5)(4) meh, they're ok 5. Mark and Michael-(2)(4)(5) kinda hapless last nite, went to firt to almost last...they would have be philiminated had k/a not been uturned. 6. Christie and Jodi-(8)(8)(7) wow, they did better this week, still don't like them tho 7. Tammy and Victor(10)(9)(8)--Ok, Victor is a douche, he says EVERYONE knows Chekhov...did Mel say that or anyone else that got it right away? I don't like them and wish that sinister deaf kid had Uturned them instead Philiminated: Amanda and Kris (4)(2)(2) I knew when Kris said they were going to win it that they were toast....all 4 dating/married couples are gone...has this ever happened so quickly before?

I'm early to the lvoe list.. But thats okay..Here we go..
1) Mel & Mike - They are by so far the best team this season.. No complaining, racing with great skills, hurt and all.. 2) Margie & Luke - Yes it was bad for them to U-Turn a team. I don't understand why people don't see it has per strategy.. I mean you want to take out your biggest threat. And apparently Amanda and Kris was a bigger threat.. The Next U-Turn should be for Tammy and Victor, and then it would be an underdog race.. 3) Cara & Jamie - Awesome female team.. Almost has good as Dustin and Kandice, Keep up the good work.. 4) Tammy & Victor - They move back up since they weren't in trouble or whining this episode.. 5) Christie & Jodi - Awesome racing skills this week, hopefully they can keep their smarts up.. 6) Likesha & Jen - Still haven't seen much of them.. Can't seem to get into them.. 7) Mark & Micheal - A little dumbfounded this episode.. So I have to put them last, they were like clueless.. Them and Mel & Mike are the only Alpha Males this season.. 8) Philiminated - Amanda & Kris - I'm not happy they are gone, but i'm not sad either...Don't need another Kris and Jon V 2.0..
However they should be honored they were Uturned.. It makes them out to be a threat in the long run..

No team really shone to me this week. This is kind of a default list.1. Cara/Jaime (3) – They did OK. I'd like them better if they'd told Mark that they were just fooling them. At least they didn't take the booking or anything. 2. Kisha/Jen (4) – They did OK this week too. 3. Tammy/Victor (5) – And back up they go. Perhaps he learned his lesson, or perhaps they just got a nicer edit. 4. Mel/Mike (6) – I just don't like them. I don't even know why not. 5. Margie/Luke (2) – Bah. I don't care if it's part of the game. The U-Turn and Yield are just legal dirty tricks. It's especially sad since Kris and Amanda seem to think that these 2 would have felt badly for them. 6. Mark/Michael (7) - I found their attitude this week annoying: "We can't find it. We looked everywhere. Wah." Good grief. 7. Christie/Jodi (8) – So surprising that they were first this week. It was luck, and not anything else. Philiminated: Amanda/Kris (1) – They were a bit bland, but nice, and it's too bad that they got U-Turned. They weren't even particularly nasty talking about the people they thought did it.

What a crazy week – all my favs were at the back of the pack and didn’t get much air time! 1. (4, 2, 1) Mike and Mel – I really like these guys and I’m predicting they’ll get philiminated in 4th or 5th place – where all my favorites go out! 2. (3, 5, 7) Tammy and Victor – They’re here purely as good racers. They did a great job coming from last to third. I can’t believe Victor actually said out loud his comment about Chekhov (okay, I probably would have thought that too, but I wouldn’t say it to a cameraman, lol!) 3. (1, 1, 2) Margie and Luke – I still love Margie, but Luke has some growing up to do. Actually I think his experience on the race will be great for him. 4. (9, 9, 8) Jodi and Christie – Team Wheelie Luggage ran a great leg for once! 5. (6, 7, 6 ) Kisha and Jen – Last week I said, nice people, but not good racers. This week they did great, but we know nothing about them. They'll be toast soon. 6. (8, 6, 5) Cara and Jaime – There’s a lot of love for these two, but I’m not feeling it. The way they complained about the way Amanda stacked wood really irked me. 7. (2, 3, 4) Mike and Mark – In a word: clueless. Philiminated: (5, 4, 3)Amanda and Kris – I have no problems with Margie and Luke U-turning them, it is part of the game, but I am disappointed that these two were the ones that lost out and didn't have a chance to do a speed bump. They are the kind of team that I like to watch on the race: calm, smart and strong. I’ll miss them.

background as flight attendants helped them make a savvy choice with their flights. 2. Kisha/Jen (4,6,5) I like them. It was nice to see two all-female teams at the top of the pack. Their
only weakness seems to be navigation, which cost them first place this time around. 3. Margie/Luke (1,1,2) Still love them. They did the right thing strategically by U-Turning Kris/Amanda,
and I was glad to see them push through that tough roadblock. 4. Jamie/Cara (8,5,3) The fake Lufthansa call was hilarious, and obviously no harm was done since Mark/Michael
ended up on the first flight anyways. They are holding their own, but Jamie was rather catty towards Amanda at the detour. 5. Mel/Mike (5,8,1) Another good leg for them, but we didn't see much of them this week. 6. Tammy/Victor (2,2,8) Didn't see much of these two either, and that was a good thing. Like Victor,
the second I heard "Russian playwright" I came up with Chekhov. I don't think it was arrogant to say what he did-- some people know Russian authors, others know sports stats. I kind of wish they had been uturned instead of Amander and Kris, just for the schadenfreude to be found in another Victor meltdown. 7. Mark/Michael (7,9,7) Okay, these two act like they can do anything and have done everything but in
reality they have pretty terrible racing skills. They need to start using their brains or they are toast. Philiminated 8. Amander/Kris (6,3,6) They were nice, but bland. Having said that, the U-Turn on this leg
was just cruel... both of those detour options were awful. I don't feel too bad, though, since I like
most of the other teams more than them. They'll enjoy their vacation at Loser Lodge, I'm sure. Loser Lodge:

And the lvoe carousel goes round and round... 1. (8,7,4) Mel/Mike – I like their spirits, and they are different...if anything. 2. (4,5,5) Cara/Jaime – Like them more = rising on my list. 3. (3,1,7) Tammy/Victor – Hey, nothing wrong this leg = back on top 3. 4. (9,9,8) Christie/Jodi – OMG...they are 1st? They had a really good leg through. Did show the skills @ airport. 5. (1,3,2) Mark/Michael – Their racing incompetency is just crazy. 6. (7,8,6) LaKisha/Jennifer – OMG, last week 3rd, this week 2nd? 7. (2,2,1) Margie/Luke – Sorry, U-Turners go dead last, even if they were first on my list last week. And what's with the producer's obsession with them? The last thing I need is the U-Turn to get me bankrupt in the Casino game. Philimited: (6,6,3) Amanda/Kris – I was REALLY hoping for a non-elimination (since we all know next leg is also in Russia). But I guess wrong. They get super unlucky this leg and that's all it need...U-Turn is the final thing they want to see.

Here are my rankings:1. Cara & Jamie -- this team stuck with the stacks, and it paid off! Luke's liking for them also paid off for them as well. 2. Tammy & Victor -- much improved, guys! You're back on my love list! 3. Mel & Mike -- like this team, but lost quite a bit of time at the Construct Detour. 4. Christie & Jodi -- much improved as well! Going to the Internet cafe really paid off! 5. LaKisha & Jen -- also a fine job from you two! Too bad you didn't find the right entrance in time to come in first. 6. Margie & Luke -- I can see why they U-Turned Amanda & Kris. They didn't have an alliance with the dating couple, and the dating couple was a strong team. I'm still a little sad they used it on them, however. 7. Mark & Michael -- boy, you guys seem clueless! Philiminated: Amanda & Kris. I'm kind of sorry to see this team go thanks to a U-Turn. But on the bright side, they should feel honored that they were U-Turned because they were a strong team.

1. Kisha and Jen- actually really liked them this week, really shocked myself by rooting for them at one point2. Tammy and Victor- last week is forgiven 3. Christie and Jodi- they are starting to do well, hope it continues 4. Mel and Mike- I like them, but think they might get the boot next week 5. Margie and Luke- lvoe her, he is geting old- give up after 1-2 tries at the RB?? Just sit down and cry already! I'm totally okay with the U-Turn, but "Blind" U-Turns are BAD!! Guess the producers wanted more people to use them. 6. Cara and Jaime- do not like them, the one is quite catty and they aren't too great at the race 7. Mark and Michael- these two suck at racing. Really don't like their attitudes and hope they go soon. Don't see the "fun" or "excitement" others see in their personalities at all. PHILIMINATED- kinda shocked to see them booted so early, but I was okay with it. They weren't bad racers, just got unlucky in one leg (like Toni and Dallas or Brad/Victoria this season), which is lame.

1. Mel and Mike – Back on top, fairly inept this week, but very likeable2. Christy and Jodi – Fantastic leg, I’m not sure they can do it, but good luck to them, although the one with the plastic face is just scary. 3. Jaimie and Cara – Better, but I just don’t get them yet. 4. Jen and Kisha – Better, but still not that great. 5, Luke and Margie – Hand on heart, if it hadn’t been a team I liked I would have applauded the yield, they got rid of strong competitors, giving themselves a much better chance. However much I may understand the tantrum still got to mark you down. 6. Tammy and Victor – Better this week, however I am really not liking them that much. 7. Mark and Michael – I thought they may be interesting, it appears that I was wrong, they are just dull, not sure what makes a good racer, but the opposite of these two is probably it  J Slice what a cool lady

Hard to make my list this week:1. Mel & Mike - Likeable and are doing not too badly but I still think they won't be around for long. 2. Cara & Jaime - Likeable. The fake phone call was starting to annoy me but it's not like it affected anything. 3. Margie & Luke - He was a whiny brat. Focus and get it done! 4. Christie & Jodi - Here by default. 5. Kisha & Jen - You bumbled around and it cost you first place. 6. Tammy & Victor - I reiterate my comment from last week... Victor is an arrogant a$$! I guess I'm dumb 'cause I never have heard of Chekhov. 7. Mark & Michael - I officially hate these guys. They suck!! You were on the 1st plane and crawled in at the bottom because it took hours to find the stupid house when you could have started building the shutters first. Then everyone catches up and you stand there and wait for all of them to finish their shutters. Then you don't have enough money for the cab! Incompetent fools! 8. Philiminated - Amanda & Kris - What a surprise! No dating couples left and the winner will not be a couple. They were okay but not that great and kind of boring.

I was really expecting a non-elim this week. Bummer.My List: 1)Kisha & Jen- what can I say, they did a good job, vaulting to the front and no fighting. 2)Cara & Jamie- Still the ladies I would like to be the first two woman team to win but they were slightly whiny this week so I kept them out of my top spot. 3)Mel & Mike- Figured they would be goners long before this so kudos to them for sticking around but can't shake the feeling their luck will shortly run out. And I think it has been luck - not particularly good racing skills that have kept them in it. 4)Christie & Jodi- Using their heads was nice to see, getting the best flight in advance was smart. Will need time to see when the real Christie & Jodi will stand up - the ditzes who wandered around a barn looking for a stamped piece of wood or the ladies who outsmarted the other teams last night. 5)Margie & Luke- I dislike the Yield in general, I don't think it's fair at all and really wasn't necessary. 6)Mark & Michael- First leg I thought these guys were gonna compete. Boy, did I get that wrong. And the woodpiles were taller than they were, I'm not sure they could have completed that task. 7)Tammy & Victor- I might like Tammy with another partner but I just can not stand Victor. Every time he opens his mouth I want to spit in his face. Arrogant little wuss. Philiminated: Amanda & Kris - so that leaves the race with no eye candy for me. Instead of enjoying the sight of Kris running around Siberia in his undies, I'll get Luke, Mark or Michael, or worst yet, Mel or Mike. I think I'm going to throw up.

And they did okay this leg too. I find them quite entertaining to watch. 3. Mel/Mike (3) - They are doing fine except for switching task. 4. Kisha/Jen (8) - They did much better than I expected, but I am glad that they lost the foot race to C/J because I like the C/J more. 5. Jamie/Cara (7) - The worst team remaining, always finished at the back of the pack. 6. Mark/Michael (5) - They are just clueless in this whole leg, they are fortunate to stay in the race. 7. Margie/Luke (2) - Hate to see them using the blind U-turn, and feel even worst after reading the interview of Amanda/Kris on how they made a story up. Also don't understand why Luke wasted so much time not trying anything in the roadblock. Philiminated - Amanda/Kris (1) - Poor them, being a victim of the U-turn. They have been doing very hard this leg, and I don't think they made any big mistakes at all (since they would have to do both detours as long as they were behind Luke/Margie), so I am sad to see them go in the end. The Amazing Race Fan from Hong Kong!

1. Mel/Mike – They Stumbled slightly, but they were nice, funny and helpful as alway!2. Cara/Jaime - They stuck with what they needed to do and got it done. 3. Margie/Luke - I really don't see why people are getting angry about them using the U-Turn, it's all tactics. I found them fun to watch as usual. 4. Tammy/Victor – Did a good job this leg with no major stumbles. 5. Mark/Michael – The had an advantage, but poor observational skills lost them it. Mel/Mike teamed up with them in the end, if they hadn't helped them find it, Mark/Micheal might have been out there for days. 6. Kisha/Jen – I really don't find them that interesting as a team. 7. Christie/Jodi (8) – I know they had a great leg and came in first, but I just don't like them as much as the other teams. (I know it is the same, but I fell exactly the same.)
Philiminated: Amanda/Kris (4) – I never really liked them anyway, so I didn't really feel for them when they were U-Turned. They didn't deserve it, but that's they way the race goes.

Heading North This week Mel & Mike hold on to the first place rank while behind them the ladies teams make some big moves up - Cara & Jaime jumped two spots to grab second place, Lakisha & Jennifer move three spots in a positive direction for third place. Christie & Jodi finally show some brains and get some love this week climbing three spots to fourth. Heading South Mark & Michael slip into the valley this week, down from fourth place to dead last. Ineptness and indecision generate much love around here.
