This week, the teams traveled from Almaty, Kazakhstan to Moscow, Russia. All 4 teams were on the same flight. While they were in the airport, Dandrew spent a bunch of money on car insurance shoes and Dallas & Starr had some "get to know you better" time.Upon arriving in Moscow, the teams had to go to a monastery and light a candle to get their clue, which sent them off to Kolosok Camp for the detour. Along the way, there were some taxi issues. The detour was a choice between marching with the Russian army or serving borscht to the Russian army. The 3 smart teams chose to march and did it well. The bumbling idiot fart boys chose to march, then switched to serving borscht, then tried to march again, then finally served borscht and got it done. Did I mention they are bumbling idiots??? Dan is also a spastic idiot! When the detour was done, it was off to a bakery for the roadblock to schlep some flour sacks. Dallas was on a mission to grab a first place finish and did a good job hauling those sacks. Ken also performed the task well. It was not easy, especially since there was a strong looking Russian woman working at the bakery, laughing at them and calling them girly men, no doubt it was because she can haul four or five of those sacks at a time. Nick & Starr continued to have taxi issues, but made it to the bakery before the bumbling idiots. Dan did the roadblock, which is weird because I figured he would just bark at Andrew while he did it, like he always does. Can you believe this is only the 3rd roadblock this tool has done? Yup. Andrew has now done 5! Dan even told us "I’m really good at the simple, Neanderthal, caveman tasks. I can do that all day long." Better call Geico, Dan! I hear they're looking for a new spokesperson.  After the roadblock, it was off to the pit stop at Neskuchny Sad Park. Dallas & Toni and Ken & Tina made it there without incident, but Nick & Starr had even more taxi issues. The fart boys once again held up the rear. They also ran out of money and could not pay the taxi driver. Don't forget to check out last week's rankings, by kidflash. They were on a mission for first place and got it! They also have fun and respect the locals along the way, no matter where they are, which makes them #1 on my list. 2. Ken & Tina (3) – They also had a great leg. I loved when Ken gave the Russian bakery lady a kiss. I am surprised that they seem to be getting closer as the race goes on. Normally, teams who come on to fix their relationships find that the stress of the race is too much to bear. 3. Nick & Starr (2) - While not entirely their fault, the taxi issues allowed us to see this team implode a little bit. Starr's whining was on the verge of irritating. 4. Andrew & Dan (4) – OMFG! I can't believe we have to put up with them again next week. I knew we were due for a non-elimination leg, but I was so hoping they were gone! ...and Phil teased us with, "I'm sorry to tell you..." Grrrr! Dan is not only a spastic idiot, but he is also super critical toward Andrew, which is ridiculous because Dan has not been carrying his half of the load with the tasks, especially the roadblocks. I am shocked that Andrew puts up with his bullsh!t. Philiminated: – My patience with the fart boys. OK! Your turn!!! Remember... this is not a discussion thread. Comments on team rankings of fellow posters are welcomed, but please refrain from going off on too many tangents. There are plenty of other threads where you can do that.

1) How can we NOT love Dallas and Toni? So respectful, so sweet, and down right competitive without the usual whining and groaning we've been getting from the other teams!! GOOD JOB! Enjoy that well-deserved trip! Dallas-from a spiney with a horrible back, hope that bakery rip doesn't come back to haunt you. You my kind of man, dude! And I think I saw that Russian Lady wink at you, too!!2) Nick and Starr-even though Nick got a bit cocky last week, and deserved to be knocked down a notch, they are still #2 in my book. They are a well-greased and rounded team. At least they haven't gotten rid of their shoes, or nag at each other constantly! 3) Ken and Tina-whatever. Hate Tina's voice. Love Ken for putting up with her. 4) Dandrew-can you BE any more dorky?? I hope he saves that taping of his marching for his grand kids to see someday. Grandpa was a geek, grandpa was a geek!! Wonder what he's like on the dance floor??? Please tell me HE wasn't the one in the marching band...I get them mixed up, they are both so stupido! Please stop wearing the Arizona shirts already-I'm SOOOOOO embarrased! I can guarantee even more entertainment next week, I'm sure....and if they don't get eliminated, well, see post on 'what you will do'...

1. Dallas/Toni (2) - Another solid effort, this time on a leg with particularly difficult communication issues. Nice work.2. Nick/Starr (1) - Nobody can control the "crappy taxi driver" factor, but these two get major demerits for sending away their taxi at the roadblock. How much time did they waste finding a new taxi, then waiting for the driver to figure out where to go? 3. Ken/Tina (3) - What better roadblock task for a former NFL player than a job of moving heavy bags? While these two have been doing a better job together, I keep waiting for Tina's next shrewish episode, and unfortunately I keep getting those episodes. 4. Dan/Andrew (4) - Let's hope these two are the ones who lose their passports, as they are completely non-competitive. This team making the final four has to be the biggest surprise in 13 seasons of TAR. Philiminated. Regrettably, nobody. Was I the only one wishing the divorcees were here for the flour-hauling roadblock instead of DAndrew? Now THAT would've been fun to watch.

Andrew & Dan (4)(5)(4)(3)(3)(1)(3)(2)- Ok Dan cracked me up last nite with his exaggerated marching and his toughness with the flour (I thought Andrew would do that roadblock) They were shown as self-depracating in this ep. about "The Best of the Worst of Dandrew" being as long as Braveheart. I'm hoping that they get to the Final 3 but the Speed bump involves dancing...I think they changed it after they saw him march! 2. Dallas & Toni(1)(2)(1)(2)(1)(2)(1)(1)-they move down bc Dallas touched Starr. I hope this 1st place finish is not their last 3. Ken & Tina(8)(4)(2)(1)(2)(4)(2)(3) - I think they just might win this. They're not so bad. 4. Nick & Starr-(9)(9)(8)(7)(6)(6)(5)(4) - Ugh, I wish they had never found another taxi and were still in Moscow

LAST EDITED ON 11-24-08 AT 05:21 PM (EST)1.Toni and Dallas: I still like N/S more overall, but this week I honestly believe, had the taxi's been fair, Toni/Dallas still would have placed first. Dallas would have blown Nick out of the water at the Roadblock. 2.Nick and Starr: As Starr said, so many things in the race are out of your control. I actually believe that they made the right choice to switch Taxi Driver. It's ammounts to possibly wasting alot of time looking for a new driver against deffinatly wasting alot of time with a driver you allready know is horrible. Ken and Tina got non-eliminated a few weeks ago because they kept their cab driver, I think I said they should have switched back on the lvoe list for that episode. Ken and Tina were complacent and placed last, Nick and Starr atleast tried something and placed second from last instead.
Starr did come across whiney with the cab drivers, but to be fair that was all of Starr being whiney over a 6 hour period condenced into 5 minutes of clips, and it is frustrating to be doing badly from just random bad luck. We have seen other teams roll with the poor luck with better attitudes in previous seasons sometimes though. 3. Ken and Tina:: They weren't nearly as bad this week as last week. Still a team that is kept in by random luck of non eliminations though, they don't deserve to be there. 4. Dan and Andrew: Look another team kept around by random luck. The dark haired one, dan I think, was amazing at the detour though, that attempt at marching was worth having them stay around untill this week.
General thoughts: I know everyone acts like Family Edition was a really bad season, but I loved how they were almost allways driving themselves. Outside of Non elimination legs, there was alot less luck in family tar.
It's not fun to see a team you like Place last due to Taxi's, and it's not even fun to see a team you hate place last due to taxi's. Surely people who hate N/S wouldn't have been satisfied with them going home like that? I know if Kelly and Christie(who I hated), had gone home to a bad Taxi I would have been annoyed. I want to see teams I dislike be defeated fair and square, it gives you a sense of satisfaction. It's empty when people(good or bad) leave from luck.
Also,
I like the final 4, all 4 teams are genuinely respectfull to the other teams and all seem to like eachother get/along. Even Ken/Tina and Dan/Andrew only fight amongst themselves, not the other teams. Really I won't be that angry if anyone here wins, even Dan and Andrew, because atleast it's happening to niceish people, even if only 2 of the remaining teams deserve to be there.

The missing passport caper looks like it will make next leg mighty interesting.My List: 1)Dallas & Toni - Who else? The only team I hope to see cross the finish line first. Anyone else would be a disappointment. 2)Andrew & Dan - Foolish, inept, lousy racers but I still like them better than the two teams below. 3)Nick & Starr - She gets crabby when they are not in the lead and Nick is still arrogant. I did get a slightly different read on Nick this week - maybe if he just came out of the closet he wouldn't need to keep people away with his smugness and arrogance. What was up with wearing each others uniform? For a second, I expected Phil to tell them they would have to go back and do the Detour over wearing the right uniforms because it seemed as if the cameraman was making sure we noticed. 4)Ken & Tina - Her voice is grating and I still dislike the way she treated the locals in India.
Philiminated: Any hope Dan ever had of getting a date.

Ohmigod Arnutz - you are ON IT!!!! Your mini summary said it all and it was up so fast! Probably because of the urgency screaming inside you to declare Dan a FREAK!!! And how awful it is these two fart boys are still in the race! ARGGGGHHHHH!!!! Watching Dan "march" was like watching Elaine dance in that Seinfeld episode - I was HOWLING! Was he actually trying to march correctly? It was unfathomable!!!!!I just LVOE these boards!!! You are all so smart and so f'g funny!!!! : Andrew & Skidmark the Fvcktard Philiminated: Any hope Dan ever had of getting a date. WHEW! Back to the lvoe: 1) Dallas and Toni - Calm, fun and focused. This was a great leg. Dallas! Keep your focus and get your mind off of Starr. I love Toni's watchful eye - very funny! He DOES need a girlfriend though - is a little too "mom" focused. 2) Nick and Starr - Her freaking out was really adding to the cabbie's stress. At least he was actively trying to find out from others where to go! Dumb move letting him go, although I understand their frustration. Nick was right in accessing her frailties, and he was great at keeping them focused and on task. 3) Ken and Tina - Ken rocked the flour sacks - great job. They were both great marches - go figure with her rigid attitude!  Staying focused is working for them too. 4) Dandrew - what a frickin' abomination! I was horrified it was a non-elim. What a couple of losers!!!!!!! Get them off my screen! Yes, they showed a little humility earlier in the ep, but later they talked like they are the greatest racers of the bunch, and they are so f'g inept!!!!!! Yes - Fvcktards IS the WORD!!!! AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH! If these two make the final three I will just scream!!!!!!!!!!!

You're gonna think I'm crazy, but . . . 1. Dandrew: for no other reason than that I haven't seen anything that funny on TV for a loooong time. Andrew and the linen wrap and Dan "marching" were so hilariously stupid that they should have their own series of straight-to-DVD dork movies. 2. Toni and Dallas: rocked this leg. Good job! 3. Nick and Starr: had to get the clueless cabbie at some point, and Starr didn't handle it well. 4. Ken and Tina: yeah, I don't know what to say about them. They had a good leg; hard work and limited nagging.

Here I go again to save the day. No Really, I mean it ;)Okay Lvoe List: 1) Toni & Dallas: Awesome, Awesome, Awesome. Is there anything else to say. AWESOME!!!! They are by far one of my favorite teams. They work well together, they get along. And most importanlty they don't let the tasks fustrate them. 2) Nick & Starr: Really Competitive team. Although Starr needs to loosen up a little bit, Like Nick. It seems he is the glue that is holding Starr from falling off the cliff. 2) Ken & Tina: I don't have a problem with them. Even though, Tina can be annoying, they are still better than the brats. WAY WAY WAY WAY DOWN:
Least Favorite Team: Andrew & Dan - Worse team in amazing race history.

1. Dallas and Toni. An unexpected surprise team this season, very likable, and at last they win a leg!2. Ken and Tina. I like half of this team, but the other half? It looks like the Race is bringing them closer, which is rather rare for dysfunctional couples. They're functioning in the Race and with each other. 3. Nick and Starr. The spoiled brat side of them came out in this leg, and when confronted with unexpected difficulties, not always making the smartest decisions. Still the favorites to win, though. 4. Andrew and Dan. No rhythm and totally out of tune. Clearly among the worse teams to ever make the Final 4.
