One of the RussHell Harem 2 has joined Matt on Redemption Island, and there may be dissension building in the Zap 6 alliance because Sarita pretty much picked the wrong person to do the calling/puzzle solving last episode... Phillip is annoying, so Rob says maybe he has to stay. Krista has to scramble at RI...Krista at Ri...she's excited about meeting Matt, he's positive, she climbs in with him....she asks him if he prays alot, she does...she's telling him she's going to give him a run for his money....sunrise...see a tarantula, ominous.....Camp Zap...Tibal was ugly, Steve says, to my surprise K and St both voted for me, he asks Steph why? She says it's about the team being with the strongest competitors...Steph says she tried to be delicate...she hates sucking it up but she wnats to get further in the game. He asks why, and she says that it was for the strength of the tribe... and she confesses that she's practically biting her tongue off in trying not to bash them... and then they start arguing about it and Steve says that she continues to hang herself with each and every move she makes... "Ometepe, Day 14" As Philip is gathering twigs, Natalie and Ashley are having a spa day, removing leg and pit hairs... Rob's making a day bed, with Andrea 'pretending' to help... After Rob and Grant join the girls at their spa, Phillip requests that at least once ever half an hour, they check on the fire... and then he b&c's about it in convessional... Phillip calls himself the redheaded stepchild, and Natalie and Ashley get a headache and stomachache, respectively... Redemption Island, prior to the duel: Krista gets her luxury item and it's a Bible, which they then have a prayer and last meal in preparation for the Duel. Our observers today are: Andrea/Natalie and Julie/Mike. Today's duel is they have to use a grappling hook to retrieve 3 bags with balls, then use one of those balls to solve a table maze. Due or die time again. GO! Must stay on the platform while doing the grappling. Krista gets her first bag, then Matt. Krista scores her second bag, as does Matt. Krista goes three-three for the bags! Matt gets back the third bag, but Krista's already on the maze! Extreme closeup shot on Krista... Krista's halfway through, but is starting to get stuck/slowed down... and then she falls in the hole... Matt wins the Duel! Four straight Duels for Matt. Before dropping her buff in the cauldron (with the TC departure music in the background), she passed off her Bible to Matt, because he doesn't have his own. Tree mail at RI, and Krista's bible shows up....gave them some strength and guidance that they can't find anywhere else, they pray together....Thank you for letting us be here together on RI....Matt confessional: both of us have been struggling that there is no one else we can share our faith with....he's worried this could be his last day.... RI duel: Jiffy: Andrea and Nat, Julie and Mike...here they are Matt and Krista.... challebnge is to grapple hook to retrieve 3 bags, once have all balls use 1 ball to do the table maze...one shot to stay....see a snake, do or die time....Matt with first toss, misses...Krista, great first toss gets bag....Matt with 1st bag....Krista 2nd toss, and has 2 bags, Matt not panicking-nice toss with 2nd bag....Krista gets 3rd bag, 3 tosses, 3 bags, starts to work, big advantage....Matt has 3 rd bag, Krista has his bag....Matt get that bag open! Matt has his ball and all working on table maze...Pick it up Matt, his ball falls through, both still alive, Krista has lead, matt catching up, neck and neck, see Andrea, Matt has the lead now, tough spot close to the finish, Krista falls in hole, Matt wins! Stays alive! they hug....Krista is crying, her second chance is over...game is over....she gives him her bible, and he thanks her so much! She is kind enough to leave it with me, he's an extremely strong believer and that's why he's doing so well out there....God's will at the challenge was done, Krista left her bible to me, that book just breeds life, can't thank her enough...once again winner. Andrea with confessional: Krista was so close, Krista gave him her bible...he bonded with Krista just as much as he bonded with me, so, he could be dangerous!!! (As in dangerous to her!) She was apparently using a (possibly) dirty stick to clean her teeth, and may have infected her teeth, and/or caused a cavity in her mouth... and the ensuing drama puts her on most peeps hit list... I think it was David that tries to rally Steph to use this to get her inroads into the Zap 6, but she hates the entire tribe... Over at Omatepe, Phillip sees that a storm's a coming, and he's asking for some assistance, but it's coming out badly and he's the topic of complaint for them... Steph is going to suck up to people she hates.... He appreciates it, she's working hard, he tries to believe in people. She tells him the truth, I want to write down Sarita's name, she's the weakest. He tells her she;'s stronger in the challenges and stronger all around. She would love to go to a challenge where she could show off her challenge strength, it would help her....anything to bring her up. Oh well, score one for EPMB....Duh...losing! Okay, here's the reward...Lobster tails and they have a feast. Ashley says this is the best reward, food they could have eaten for days, Beer too. See the freakin view...big statue of Jesus....See Rob and he sees the clue to the HII...he is so sharp. Rob in confessional says right away he spots it, under the lobster tails, he is going to let one of them get it and he sticks his hand out and gives it to Rob, they get it and they go and check out the view, then Phillip comes and sys that he saw it...Grant and him got busted by the Principal...Phil in confessional he's the specialist, Rob is the mentalist Lion and Gorilla. If you are going to make an alliance with me, than you better honor it...I could dwell in a place of negativity and when the time comes I'm gonna kick a little ##### around here.... Camp Zap See Sarita walking up. David in conf: I have lobbied for Steph to stay and Sarita to go, she;s a team mom, we need a player. They need the best six to win...think about it. Sarita is saying that David and Steph are trying to swap her name with hers...she's the most loyal and they all know that. Steph with Julie, says that Sarita is the weakest, but Julie says they all trust S. The best she can do is show how committed she is in the challenges....Julie calls her a strong woman in a little package...if they don't keep me, they'll lose. Dave is on my side...David says he's sick of losing, to Rooster and Mike, and now Julie. Julie says that Steph is stronger in challenges but she trusts Sarita more. David disagrees, all he cares about is winning....see them resting in camp. Mike says we have to weigh if Steph goes home, than Sarita will be in the next challenge, he's not totally opposed to getting rid of her... TC: David: Take me back to the 1st challenge you threw...he says they are paying the price now in terms of momentum. Ralph: We started the game out wrong, if I had been shooting i think i could have been better Sarita: she sat out, Steph said she was glad she sat out, she was shaking that she had to get in there and I was I can't wait to get in there... Sarita was glad she sat out....David says that's exactly what she was saying...I would have been fine to be out there..it was horrible to watch that loss...Steph doesn't buy it, she complains more than anyone...Sarita tells her she's way off base...STeve, is there a part of you that thinks Steph's spunk alone is worth keeping around. Steve wants Sarita to do more at camp, and at the challenges, and she's an uptown girl...Dave says that the tribe is too worried about trust when trust isn't the issue, we need to focus on winning....Ralph agrees. I gathered from an Insider that Sarita's hippy past is not dead, and she's preaching a sort of peace love groovey philosophy to the tribe. They haven't shown that. I had forgotten until then that her cast bio mentions her upbringing. The one tribe I remember being inspired by a hippie child was Rotu. Gabriel was raised on a commune I think. (so was Parvati, but she became a sorority girl.) The Bible tells us so. 2: Andrea (a, now, very clear-eyed and very practical, industrious Taurus) was wise to mend her fences at Ometepe, wasn't she? Note: From my point of view, Rob (a Capricorn) is the only remaining "natural" Superior at Ometepe. The other two were Francesca (a Scorpio) and Kristina (like Rob, a Capricorn). Ometepe's "natural" Subordinates were/are Phillip and Grant (Pisces), Natalie and Andrea (Taurus) and Matt (a Gemini). The lone "natural" Soloist on the tribe is Ashley (an Aquarius). On the other hand (if I have correctly identified David's and Sarita's Signs), at the beginning of the Season there were no less than eight "natural" Superiors and Soloists at Zapatera. They were/are: David and Krista (Cancer), Steve (an Aries), Rooster (a Scorpio), Russell and Julie (Libra), Sarita (a Sagittarius) and Stephanie (an Aquarius). The lone "natural" Subordinate on the tribe is Mike (a Virgo). 3: The edit seems to have left a lot of mileage in the tribal stories. So, I don't think that a merge is imminent. In fact (given Stephanie's foreshadowing shot - 'I won't be going back to them' - at the tribe she hates), I think that it is very possible that the producers followed the Gabon model: beginning with an IIC during Episode 7 that will see two Individual Immunities awarded (a la Marcus and Sugar) that will then be followed by dual TCs and then (in Episode 8) by a faux-merge, tribal realignment and three-way Redemption Island contest that will permanently expel two of the Island's residents and put the winner back into the Game with immunity for him/herself and for his/her "new" tribe (a la Matty and Fang III). Episode 9 would then contain a standard IC and TC and the merge would follow in Episode 10 (at Final 9). But, I'll take that to another thread. 4. I would like to think that David will overcome his unfortunate addiction to esprit de corps and sweet reason, but I doubt it. And Matt a Gemini -- as Judson/Fabio is also most likely a Gemini. Yes, Rob is a consummate Capricorn. I think he was born Christmas Day. He looks at every situation in the light of how can I manipulate this so that it works in my favor, and that makes him so good. Capricorn is essentially a pessimist though. That's why he has to work all the angles, because it's so likely to him that something will go wrong. That's interesting Grant is a Pisces. His tweets show a strong mystical side. As for Phil, he's getting messages from the other side. David a Cancer -- well, Cancerians are ruled by the stomach, and they get gloomy when they're hungry. And according to the lunar cycle ... Re those Taurus girls, slow and steady wins the race. Natalie White was the first and so far only Taurean to win Survivor. It took 19 seasons. They are not leaders by nature. So Rob's alliance is part winter signs -- himself, Ashley, Grant, Philip -- and part Spring -- Andrea and Matt (the splinter in the alliance.)
