With the show back to sixteen contestants, we should be looking at thirteen episodes, plus one slot for the Reunion -- fourteen total available spaces. (A recap episode after #6 is possible, but generally doesn't get covered as there's seldom enough new scenes to make it work. Still, if you really, really want it...) The central rule: you must have completed at least one summary for another show before you can do one for the island DAWs. And that means you volunteered, you showed up, you wrote your assigned summary, and you posted it. If you volunteered and ducked out, too bad, so sad, doesn't count. Whoever gets the first episode is essentially responsible for introducing the entire cast, launching the season, and potentially compressing all of China's history into less than the twelve seconds Burnett will give it over the course of the season. Good luck with that last. The Reunion and Episode #13 finale count as two slots. The Finale summarizer takes things up through the announcement of the winner: the Reunion kicks in immediately after. We generally ask people to break it up that way because covering three hours of DAW activity can kill just about anyone. Summaries should go up within three days of the episode's airtime. The sooner, the better, and the faster you are, the more openly-posting readings you get. If you're ready within a day, you're golden. The Reunion and Finale can be posted on the same day. If we get more volunteers than slots (which can happen for this show), the summaries will be assigned by random draw, likely conducted by a BluePeep. ETA: Application deadline is midnight EDT Saturday, September 15th. So. Only Nixon could go to China. Only the DAWs could follow him. Only Burnett could make them throw everyone out again... and only we can cover the last days before the nation closes itself off forever... Do we have a volunteer? Do we have fourteen? Fifteen? Eighty? No shoving. 
Sixteen contestants? Wow. It's been a while.

BB,HK,ANTM,Survivor,TAR,LCS...more than one for some of those.Dear Lord, who let that happen? What is wrong with me? Why am I on a sign up thread again? What are you slipping in my coffee? By the time Survivor starts I should be mostly recovered from the whole moving to a new building at work thing. Sept 27 and Nov 8 do not look good for me to get posted in 3 days, but otherwise I think I'm available most of the rest of the season.

I would love to do another summary. I've done one for the last two seasons. I promise it won't be as long as Pirate Master.November 1st works the best for me. DH will be gone for the weekend. I write better when he's not around. *puts hands together, bows head* I await your answer, oh wise Estee. Thanks for doing this.

But please, can I do one after the merge, as I do much better with the later episodes, and they usually coincide with "slow periods" grading wise. oops, forgot to list my priors: 3 seasons of Survivor, AR, and two seasons of TSL. Not to mention all those roving reports. LOL
